Woodhouse holiday park is an excellent place to stay, we’ve been visiting for over 20 years. The shower facilities are outstanding & kept so clean. The barn is perfect for enjoying a pint with a meal, there’s an indoor play area for the kids, there’s a huge field where all the kids play, they have two fishing lakes, excellent dog walks on site, a lovely little shop that sells all your essentials.All The staff are amazing, very helpful, Alison the site owner is brilliant and Marie who’s worked there since we first started using the site can’t do enough for you.We love it here so much we never want to leave, we always end up booking extra days.We’ll be back again in September for a quiet break, if our caravan was stored here we’d probably go every weekend if they could fit us in.Ripon & Patley Bridge is only 10 minutes away with loads of shops and eating out places then you have Thirsk & Harrogate not far away, both lovely places to visit.

Brilliant campsite for the 3rd year running. Always clean and tidy with friendly staff. The indoor soft play and onsite pub is a great addition that make us come back year after year.

Fantasic facilities, play barn is wonderful. Lovely pub and friendly staff. To top it off a wonderful shower block with lovely clean facilities. Even a bath for the kids. Close to Ripon and Fountains Abbey. You won't be disappointed with this little Gem of a site.

Very good site, I had my 3 yr old granddaughter for her first time camping she loved it. Plenty for her to do, open spaces for her bike or football, she loved the choice of play parks, we enjoyed a pint from the pub whilst she ran off some energy in the soft play. Toilets and showers were spotless and very up to date/modern. Pot washing facilities were clean and water really hot. We have already talked about returning for next years camping trip The whole place was kept clean and tidy I can’t fault anything from our stay.

From arriving to leaving everything was so well organised. From the food vans to the pub and restaurant, the food and the cleanliness was exceptional! Having a games room for the kids was a bonus. All enjoyed their time playing pool, table tennis and the climbing wall! I would highly recommend this site to anyone.

We stayed for 4 nights on a non electric pitch. The pitch was just big enough for our campervan, awning and outside seating. There was plenty of room in front for the kids to play and run about. Lots of little play areas for the kids and the play barn was £2 a wristband a day. The pub sold good beer at a reasonable price. There was a pizza van one night which sold lovely stone baked pizzas which we enjoyed, there was also a burger van there 2 nights we used it one nights which was okay. We didn't try the barn food as it wasn't doing food whilst we were there but we thought it was great they had local food vans in. The facilities were nice, clean and modern. A tractor came every morning to collect recycling right out the front of everyone's pitch! The shop sold essentials, sweets and toys. Wed definitely visit again when visiting Yorkshire. I probably wouldn't recommend going in the summer holidays if you don't have kids or like kids running around.

Overall we really loved our stay. Our second night was a big shame. Most people have turned music off and stopped being loud around 9.30/ 10 ish. I know you advise this for 11pm. There were still people behind us not sure of the number with music on, talking loudly, swearing, shouting at each other, laughing, drunk and have children running around still. They have been excess loud throughout the day, evening and then night. Somebody had already asked them to quiet down but they do it for a few minutes then continue. The front of their tent is facing the part of ours where they have woken up our children multiple times. This has ruined our evening. I know it is not your fault but it didn’t make our time enjoyable. Really disappointed as our first night was wonderful. 

Really enjoyed are stay here but there do need to be some improvements. The food only severed at the bar till 7:30 is far too early. The pizza van was sold out. There were no quizzes or bingo or anything going on at the bar for family’s in the evening time. But over all the site was brilliant and very clean

The campsite met all of our needs for our stay. The facilities were clean at all times. The campsite was well looked after. The kids loved the recycling tractor each morning and this encouraged recycling. The extra grounds, parks and bike track were well loved by the kids.
