We just got back from a break at the park, and honestly, it couldn't have been smoother. Even before we arrived, we knew we were in good hands, the staff actually gave us a ring on the morning of our check-in just to walk us through the arrangements. It was such a thoughtful, friendly gesture that really took the stress out of the travel day. The caravan itself (the Swaledale - 2 Bed Luxury) was spot on. Walking in, the first thing you notice is how fresh and modern everything feels. It’s clearly been fitted out recently; the kitchen was a total win with a proper hob and even an air fryer, which made quick meals a breeze. The layout was great for relaxing, too. Having TVs in both the bedrooms and the living area meant no one was fighting over what to watch, and the beds and towels were crisp and spotless. The shower and toilets felt more like a high-end hotel than a caravan.Huge thanks to the polite and professional team there, you made our stay feel special!

A lovely clean caravan that had everything we needed for a great holiday. A good location, there are lots of things to do in this beautiful area close to the caravan and lots more 1-2 hrs drive away. Staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. There's a nice little walk to finghall from the caravan site where you will find a lovely pub to eat at. There is also a cake shed outside the pub with a good choice of bakes to choose from you help yourself and post the money in the box ( there's a leaflet with a route at reception) photos below are from this walk.

Had a lovely four day break end of march.. we stayed in the coveradale (pet) the park was very clean and the lodge was beautiful and very comfortable.. lovely pub/restaurant onsite would definitely recommend.. although some work going on it really didn't interfere with our stay..a very friendly and enjoyable stay..

Very friendly staff at the site, a beautiful new caravan and a pub restaurant we could all easily eat together in. The site is right out in the country and in March very quiet and peaceful. Caravan was very warm and has absolutely everything you need including an iron and toiletries.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The lodge we stayed in was spotless, warm and had all the essentials we needed for our 2 week Christmas stay. The family-friendly environment made it the perfect place for all the family to have fun and relax with easy access to local towns and beautiful walks. The caravan park is beautifully maintained, safe, and welcoming, with everything you need for a stress-free stay. The pub is a great place to relax and the food is delicious with a great children’s menu. We couldn’t fault it and would happily recommend it to anyone and have already done so! Thank you Akebar Park, we can’t wait to return!

Had a fabulous week at Akebar Parkover the festive season. Nice cosy warm caravan exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed to cook our christmas dinner was in the caravan .. Nice litte touches a nice lit up christmas tree .and the fireplace was also decorated We stayed in the wensledale caravan with our pet dog Nipper who absolutely loved the dog park ..Unfortunately we were unable to book the Friars Head for a meal as it was fully booked ,however ŵe had plenty food so didnt spoil our break . Well done Akebar Park and Thank you so much for an enjoyable break .

Lovely quiet park very clean and tidy .stayed in. Dog friendly caravan spotlessly clean very warm and cosy .in a lovely setting .visited leyburn had a nice meal at the Bolton arms and a walk along the leyburn shawl.good value for money .

The van we stayed in was lovely, it was very clean and had everything we needed. The surroundings were delightful and extremely well maintained. We were constantly entertained Bt the antics of thr ‘resident’ ducks ans swans!

We had a great stay and were really pleased with the accommodation. The lodge was brand new and had all the facilities we needed including a coffee machine and airfryer which was unexpected. The hot tub was a real bonus and the kids loved it as did we. Added bonus was to have the Friers pub where we enjoyed a great bonfire night and a meal on the following evening. This is a real gem of a place! Also to mention that the lodge was spotlessly clean with complimentary toiletries and fluffy towels. Great value for money for what we felt was a 5 star stay.
