Canada Fields Caravan Park is near Northallerton in the Vale of York set between the Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west and the North York Moors National Park to the east.

We have 40 pitches of which 36 are yearly, 4 are tourer’s with lovely views over the countryside on a landscaped area beside our family run farm. Our pitches all have hard standing with electric hook-up and have water either directly adjacent or very close by. (Unfortunately, at this time we do not facilitate tents)

Over the last year we have added many new features to the caravan park including a heated toilet block, dishwashing facilities and free WiFi.

To one side of the site is our coarse fishing lake that adds to the picturesque setting and is an added attraction for those who enjoy this relaxing sport.

Our new luxury lodge has two bedrooms one with a double bed and one with a single bed. It also has a luxury wet room and a lovely open plan living area with a dining table . A kitchen with all the amenities and a good sized garden with a luxury hot tub.

Dog Friendly with a large walled garden for pets to be let out. The large luxury hot tub is situated on your own wooden decking with a seated area.

Northallerton, the County Town of North Yorkshire is located 3.5 miles to the east of Canada Fields Caravan Park. Markets are held on Wednesday and Saturday and the town has several supermarkets and many independent shops, restaurants and pubs.

Romanby Golf Club is just 2 miles away. Cycle route 71 passes 1 mile from the site, one way heading towards Northallerton and the other towards Bedale. Bedale is located 8 miles away and is known as “The Gateway to the Dales”.

Relaxing 2 night stay in lovely Northallerton.

Nice site, very quiet tidy and spacious. Negatives are lack of conveniently located refuse and dog waste bins. Shower blocks could do with modernisation and an increase In number. No grey water disposal area ?

Hi Christopher,Thank you for your review. We are nearly finished building a new shower block to the south side of the site. The grey water disposal area was directly next to the chemical disposal. We are looking into adding extra dog refuse bins and the extra work that comes with it now the main dog walking area doesn't come up near the bins.

We were disappointed at noise allowed on evenings. Dog owners not cleaning up dirt left near our van .Please say the people next to us in permanent Bailey van he kindly did it.we left a night earlier to noise didn’t want to take chance! It’s a nice site but small attention to such things give a poor first impression.I like location and the site is very nice other than that .Would doubt we would return though because of the stove.

Hi,Thank you for your review. You did let me know about the noise at the time and I dealt with it straight away although our quiet time is after 11pm I still made sure the music for somebody's 60th birthday was turned down at 10:30. If I was made aware of the dog dirt I could have dealt with it. I will try and keep an eye out if it is one of our regular customers but I can only apologies again. We try our best to make sure everyone enjoys there time here, so I do apologies if the little bit of noise has not made it your best stay. I can assure you that it was a one off as said for someone's 60th so leaving a night early was unnecessary and again if you had spoken to me about it I would have told you that. I'm very sorry that you don't think you will return all the I don't know what you mean by "because of the stove"

What a Gem!

We only stayed at Canada Fields for one night whilst travelling home and needing to visit Northallerton. Wow what a find! This site has to be one of the very best we have stayed at in the UK. Easy accessible, well laid out and very clean and tidy, the fishing lakes adding a further level of interest to the view.Shower and toilet block was spotless with plenty of hot water, ehu and water on hard standing pitch or very close to.There is also a nice area to exercise your dog if needed, although too wet on the day we stayed. If you are looking for a peaceful, quite site and don’t need all the bells and whistles Canada Fields is perfect, it’s great value for money and we would definitely stay again. Not many touring pitches as most are rented out as seasonal pitches so you will need to book in advance, we wanted to stay two nights but only the one was available.

Despite our first night of being battered by storm agnes we had a wonderful stay at Canada Fields. We booked the site for its on site fishing and my husband was very pleased with the one days fishing he had.Our pitch was superb with a great view of the fishing lakes. The site is very clean and tidy and the toilet and shower facilities were perfectly adequate and clean. The lovely town of Northallerton was a short cycle ride away so you are not far from amenities if you need them We will most definitely return.

We stayed for a short weekend break on one of the few touring pitches - our pitch was a good size and level with a well placed water tap and electric point at the side We had a lovely view from the front and side of the van My husband spent most of the Saturday fishing and I had a lovely walk in the nearby countryside So overall a really pleasant stay and we will definitely return Also having wifi was a plus too 😊
