The site was beautifully maintained couldn’t fault that. Campsite could do with automatic gates in would be useful to us caravans / motorhome.Showers were hot which is always important , only criticism I can really say and that is, in the dishwashing area there wasn’t a plug or a bowl to be seen which was a tad annoying the first time you go to use it.

First return to Wood Nook this year for a break and some walking. Campsite facilities excellent and always made to feel welcome when staying here. All facilities clean as always and spotless! Never no complaints here and unlikely to ever have any!

I found the Owners, staff and fellow campers very friendly and welcoming inc those in the caravans and motor homes. I stayed two nights and consider the £10 pitch fee valve for money. All the tent pitches are well maintained, no mud despite the recent rain.The view out of my tent flap across the owners fields and the nearby Grassington river valley and far hills was continually up lifting.Staying in my cold draughty tent I particularly appreciated the radio music playing in the toilets/wash room, it helped lift ones mood after a hard walk and when the weather's was less favourable. The clean heated shower block and free showers also very nice.There was great tasting morning fresh ground coffee with Danish pastries and also pizza on offer over the weekend. Suggest you keep that up.The quiet location is great, plenty of walking paths straight out of the site. Only a 6 mile hike West over to Malham Cove.The public bus routes are numerous from nearby Grassington visitor centre

I had a lovely two nights stay at Wood Nook - I was visiting for a wedding nearby and it was in the perfect location to drive (5 mins) and walk (15 mins) too. The facilities were clean and the staff were friendly. The pitch was a great size

Grassington easy to get to, good restaurants etc , great pizza on Fridays , good coffee and pastries on Saturday mornings

Really enjoyed our stay at Wood Nook, would highly recommend :) weather was a little crazy but didn’t dampen our getaway, would definitely stay again.

This was our third visit to Woodnook, for s short stay.We received a friendly greeting from the site owner as usual. We had a hard standing pitch for our camper van, which was fine. Hook up is metered and charged at a very reasonable rate. Much better than a flat rate charge. The site is tidy and well maintained, with clean and pleasant facilities.The location is lovely with several options for walks from the site. Access is along a a narrow, but very quiet road.At the main road, there is a petrol station with a great SPAR shop. The Old Hall pub is worth a visit for good food and beers. In good weather, there is a short-cut via a footpath across fields, from the site road straight to the pub. Great on a nice evening.Site fees are very reasonable.We will be visiting again.

Great campsite for walking, friendly staff

Wood Nook was absolutely perfect despite the weather. It was our first camping trip and we loved it. Great facilities, beautiful location and we will be back very soon! Thank you to all at Wood Nook!
