Worth every penny!

Godridge, Emma - 01/08/2026

When booking this site I felt the price a bit higher than we often pay (we had electric hookup for our van which did increase the price). But actually it was worth every penny! The facilities were spotless. Plenty of hot water (no button pushing required), nice soap, and a free to use hairdryer, in a fully enclosed and heated building. The views from the campsite were stunning, and we enjoyed a lovely circular walk from the campsite to the nearby village of Starbotton. The local pubs were just a couple of minutes walk from the campsite. Our visit was in the July heatwave but I think we would still have a great experience at the colder ends of the season due to the enclosed facilities and lovely walking opportunities

First time staying here, Fanta facilities

Wilkinson, Peter - 31/07/2026

Stayed here for a 3 night weekend, me and the lad in a 4 man tent with electric. This may be a small site but with big site standard of facilities. The showers, toilets and dishwashing facilities are top notch, plus there is a large fridge/freezer which is free to use.Great base for exploring wharfedale and beyond, with direct roads to Hawes and Skipton and close by to Kilnsey fishery, this site has a fantastic location.Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely campsite. Lots of different options of things to do and walks. Many pubs within a walking distance. Clean and modern facility’s. On the downside the person I dealt with over the phone was rather rude!

A Peaceful Escape

Wray, Tom - 29/07/2026

We've been coming to Kettlewell Campsite for a few years now, and it always amazes me how peaceful it is, even when it's busy. It never feels overcrowded, and it's the perfect place to sit outside your tent and just enjoy the views. The facilities are always spotlessly clean, and I've never had to wait for a shower or sink, which says a lot about how well the site is run.Kettlewell is a lovely village with great pubs, beautiful walks and a stream that's brilliant for kids. Some people might not like the limited phone signal, but for me it's part of the appeal. It's one of the few places where you can properly switch off and relax. We always look forward to coming back.

Well appointed. Excellent facilities

Burns, Ian - 28/07/2026

Campsite is well maintained. The quite rules seem to work well. An easy walk to the village pubs. Cafe's and shop. Getting signed in easy. The only little thing is the pitches could be better marked out. More defined but not a plonker just a comment. Thank you for a very pleasurable stay. We will be back again. Ian Burns

Excellent site

Pinney, Charlotte - 28/07/2026

A lovely small campsite in a beautiful location. I went away for a few days escape and certainly got it. Walks along the river, quiet time in the church next door, and a great meal in the Blue Bell pub. The site was well kept. The toilets, showers & pot wash room were modern & clean. Nigel was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning

Melhuish, Liz - 27/07/2026

Accessibility proved to be a bit of a problem courtesy of Google maps who were obviously having a laugh at my expense sending me the wiggliest way possible from wetherby! Return journey absolutely fine via Skipton and Harrogate! The campsite was brilliant. Beautiful area spotlessly clean facilities and well kept and tended site. Would definitely recommend.
