We love to see the Christmas Lights at Vale of Pickering. So much effort is put into the light show each year & they help to make a Christmas break special. Staff are friendly and helpful. Although the café has limited opening at this time of year we enjoyed a hearty cooked breakfast & would have had a pizza takeaway but we were delayed that evening and missed it! The toilet & shower facilities are very good and always cleaned well. Our only comment was that some of the showerheads in the unisex facilities seemed partially blocked with limited flow and the water pressure was very high so that the showers that flowed well were almost too strong - I'm sure this could be sorted for Spring opening. We will, of course, return for a 5th Christmas in 2023.

Brilliant site. Huge pitches. Immaculate clean. Lots and lots of toilets and showere in the modern and clean block. Both available l, freezer, microwave the lot. A lovely site. Will defo be returning and have already reccomend to a friend.

Very helpful friendly staff, would recommend site to our family and friends. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The site grounds was extremely well kept with a very happy polite gardener. The surrounding area has plenty going on, places to visit and attractions for children and some really great places to eat or to have a drink. Children would love the beaches to play and go into the sea for a paddle or make sandcastles! The price that we paid was extremely good value for what was provided!We would recommend this site to everyone, we were very happy.Thank you.

Showers- very clean and updated shower rooms, Shower pressure was so strong it actually hurt my back while washing my hair. Water temperature could of been a little hotter, Hair dryers great touch was free to use and had a time limit of 18 minutes. Toilets- all I can say is wow! Absolutely spotless, looks like they recently decorated, In the ladies toilets I counted 7 toilets along with 1 family room with bath and a lot of shower rooms. In the unisex toilets/wash rooms they had 1 family room with a bath (need to pay £1 as kids mess with it and it’s to stop wasting water, it filled the bath about 2/3 inches great for daughter) along with 5 more shower rooms big enough for a wheelchair. Atmosphere- all staff very helpful and friendly (even though off season) Entertainment- not really due to us coming in December but they decorated the site beautifully. Kid friendly- lovely park for the kids, swings for both older and younger children.Extras- dog friendly, very tasty breakfast in cafe.

The site is in a great location, really quiet and maintained to the highest standard.Easy access and not far from the North York Moors and the coastThe amenities were spotless, the best we have experienced.Takeaway pizzas were very good and at a good price.All the staff were so friendly.Already booked to stay again

We have stayed at the site several times now, we love the facilities and like the walking field for the dogs. Everyone are always friendly especially the staff, always willing to help no matter what. We will definitely be coming again in 2023.
