We loved this place, the campsite is immaculate! We stayed the Wykeham pod with hot tub which was really good, basic but good. My only issues were that the sofa bed in the living area was not fit for purpose as a bed at all. My husband slept in the car! I tried it the second night as I’m smaller an it was so uncomfortable. I appreciate there’s not much space but a comfier bed is really needed. And the decking area was so slippy. BUT I would return as we had a really lovely stay of a better bed was provided.

The site is beautifully maintained and the facilities are excellent. We had a warm and friendly welcome when we checked in and when we checked out, once again the staff were friendly and we felt that they were genuinely interested in how we had enjoyed our stay. There are some lovely walks through the Estate which we discovered by chance but perhaps it would be useful to have some information about them on site. There is a pub a short walk away although it is currently closed for refurbishment.There are lots of places in the area to visit but we have a motorhome and therefore we are limited as to where we can realistically go. We have to rely on bus services if we want to get out and about and there is a regular bus service to Scarborough and it is just a 15 minute walk to the bus stop in Hutton Buscel. We enjoyed a couple of days in Scarborough and another day, we caught the train from Scarborough to Filey.

Always happy memories after staying at St Helens all the staff are very friendly helpful nothing is to much the toilets are spotless and well managed from a small shop to cafe kids park to a good size dog walk we always recommend st Helens in the park to friends and family Looking forward to next years stay👍👍

The facilities were great, and showers and toilets very clean and well maintained.The area is nice - I went to Scarborough, Whitby, Goathland, Pickering, and the water park just down the road.Improvement idea: a freezer for ice packs, as they melted very quickly in my cool box

The staff are very welcoming and supportive. The facilities are the best I have seen on any site I’ve visited. Although the site is slightly remote I.e. the nearest pub is a good walk, the public transport is good and we used it to get to many locations.Overall, this is a brilliant site

We have been to St Helen's over many years. We booked on line & chose our pitch which was in the adults section. The pitches were long & wide so room for caravan & awning with you car in front . You can arrive after 1:30pm, you pay for electric separate. We loaded money onto the card which you need to get your electric on, was advised how to do this, any not used you get back when you leave . We only used just over £12 for the 6 days we were there but didnt cook meals as we ate out every day while visiting the area. The site has been updated to a high standard, there is a small cafe which was popular although we did not use it there was lots of cars in the visitors car park which I think come to the site to visit the cafe. It was nice & quiet. We will return

Lovely site in a great location. Lots of nice little bars, pubs & cafes within a short walk in either direction. Perfect for relaxing after a walk in the great outdoors. Fully serviced pitch with friendly staff

This was a wonderful weekend away for my wife and IThe site is immaculate, facilities second to none Helpful and very friendly staffWe went out for the day Saturday, but I would have been happy to stay on site and relax as it was so nice Other guests were also nice It’s no wonder st Helen’s is always recommended and number 1And after 50 years it’s still doing it right We will become regulars Recomend it to anyone, but as it’s so good do I want to keep it secret StuartSorry I can’t share photos I only took videos Next time though

Stayed at St Helens for 4 nights and as first time campers we were so impressed with this site, staff were so friendly and helpful, we stayed on plot 86 which was perfectly placed for the facilities.The bathrooms were spotlessly clean and contained everything you would need, the onsite cafe ‘Hitch & Brew’ was a real bonus, great for breakfast!!Great dog walks on site and the whole place was so relaxing and friendly.Location was perfect for us as we wanted to visit Scarborough and Whitby, which we would highly recommend, all in all we had a wonderful holiday and will definitely be returning.Chris, Kate and Otis the dog
