Our timber built, tin clad hut is fitted with a scissor bed and includes a duvet, pillows and bedding.
It is fully insulated and has a wood burning stove for heating and boiling a kettle, which is supplied along with crockery.
It is an off grid alternative using solar power to supply lighting and a phone charger point.
Guests can use the campers' kitchen with its microwave and fridge, and also the showers and toilets in the washrooms near the hut.
In high season, a fire pit is included in the Hut's outside area.

Lovely quite campsite, very well spaced pitches with lovely clean facilities. The pot washing room was well appointed and it was less than 3 miles into Malton and 25 min train to York from there. Everything we wanted in a mini break :)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wyse Farm. The site is small, clean, the shower and toilet block clean and well laid out. Plenty of hooks for clothing etc. The site is down a lane of the main road. Perfect for visiting Eden Camp within walking distance, approx 15 minutes. New to the area is a small Service Station, BP garage with a shop, Macdonald's, and a Starbucks easily walkable. We walked to The Derwent Arms for dinner one evening, approx 50 minutes, nice route once you are over the dual carriageway. Crossing the dual carriageway was easy as the footpath is by the exit/entry slip roads. We had Sunday lunch at The Royal Oak Pub and Kitchen approx 25 minute walk. There is a Coastliner bus stop at the top of the lane. We would definitely go back
We have been staying at wyse house farm for some years. The site is very well placed for some great day trips.Ruth has made the ste very welcoming and nothing is too much bother for her.The showers and toilets are very clean and camp kitchen has everything you want, including the things you have forgotten too with lovely little touches including tea or coffee just in case you have mislaid yours. You always feel safe at the site. Lovely walks.I have visited with my children and there family. Keep up the great work Ruth....it is appreciated x
Returned to this site once again, as we love Wyse House! The facilities and grounds are ALWAYS immaculate! Ruth and the team are always very welcoming and accommodating and it has a lovely atmosphere. My children showed interest in the lambing this year, and the lovely gentleman invited them through to see the new lambs and the bull! Can’t wait to visit again!
Lovely site, super clean & modern toilets & showers etc too, can certainly recommend staying here👍
The site was peacefulland clean veiws was great and walks but the reason I will not go back is as I sat admiring the veiw the farmer got off his tractor and had a wee in my veiw which is unacceptable so i will notStay again it was our first time on the site as I read the reviews which was good but no no
Honestly we have been camping for years and years, came here for the first time Easter week 2026 with our two daughter and friends, between us 2 9yr olds and 12yr old girls. The groups are spotless, safe for our dogs and kids on their bikes too, they loved the park and fully equit play house, and encourage by the owners to collect fresh eggs and visit the farm animals. It’s such a perfect spot and considering it’s a working farm everything about it is clear, well organised and modern. The shower blocks and kitchen are lovely and warm too. We can’t wait to be back, especially when their thousands of awarding winning flowers are out in mid spring.
Me and my mate stayed it Easter with the motorhome and a trailer with motorcycles it was an excellent base for touring North Yorkshire 5 star 🌟
Useful having pitch number on a board on arrival. The toilet/shower facilities were immaculate.
A lovely campsite not to big how we like it. Clean and tidy. Great facilities. 2 minutes drive to camp Essen , 10 minutes drive to Castle Howard. 40 minutes to Whitby 40 minutes to Scarborough. The only downside was the campsite wifi was very poor. They may have improved it now as it was a new system to them. We stayed the weekend of Storm David, so this may also been a factor. Would stay here again if visiting the area.
