Love Westgate Carr Farm. It’s beautifully cared for, peaceful and just a perfect place to stay. Always a lovely, friendly welcome. The facilities are spotless and the pitches very well appointed. Your stay is charged at a very reasonable rate with electricity being charged extra on a meter and card system. It certainly works very well for us, wish more sites would recognise this approach works.The site is down a country lane, which offers the opportunity to walk into Pickering if that’s your thing. Alternatively, there is plenty of parking at the rear of the station (you will need to pay) if walking is not your bag. Our favourite site.

Site very well kept but staff were non existent after arrival. The location is not good for Motorhomers because long lane is not good for walking. Shower availability could be a problem if site was busy.

We have been to Westgate Carr Farm 3 times now as it's a lovely site. The pitches are large which makes them more private, it is very quiet and peaceful. There is a really good dog walk or just a walk around the fields and a stream. The owners ard really nice and friendly and it's only 1 mile from Pickering.

This is our forth visit to trackside cottage it never fails to disappoint, it is a lovely cottage, it has every amenity you could wish for, situated opposite nymoors railway station ( hence) Trackside cottage , in Pickering, Pickering is fairly central to wherever you to wish go for days out, plenty of places to eat cafes (russels for breakfast) pubs,restaurants, takeaways, all within walking distance

We stay here regularly and it is perfect. It’s such an escape from our busy lives. Beautiful surroundings, plenty of wildlife and animals. I don’t know how Karen and Dave manage to maintain everything so immaculately. Can’t wait for our next visit soon.

This is a lovely site offering a very relaxing break. Facilities good & well maintained. The field walk leads you down to a little river where wildlife is in abundance. We can’t wait for our next stay.

Another lovely stay at this fantastic place

This has got to be the quietest site we’ve ever stopped at in our 23 years of Caravanning. As the site is located down a lane off the main road, there is only traffic from the farm lower down the track that pass the site. And this was very minimum. The site is well laid out, very secure and the pitches are spacious and level. Each pitch had their own picnic table and was well used by us as the weather was so nice, every meal from breakfast through to supper was eaten al fresco. The facilities were modern, lovely and clean and were adequate for the size of the site. We stayed on a fully serviced pitch which was a bonus. The proprietors were very friendly and approachable and correspondence prior to arriving was much appreciated. There is a lovely garden complete with a fishpond and at the far corner of the site was access to a circular walk down to the river. By far the best site we’ve stopped at and look forward to returning soon.

Absolutely fabulous site, best we have stayed on in 3 years of motorhomeing. Owners very helpful and freindly. Good value . Showers and toilets very goodPitches well spaced. Only approx 26 pitches therefore a quiet site. Owner keeps the site tip top condition and wildlife freindly. Owner has a herd of Alpacas, approx 8 chicken Pond with gold fish and carp, owls in the barn. Wild fowl in another pond.Only small issue is access as the road is single track fir approx 3/4 mile with only a few passing places

What a lovely pieceful site just what the doctor ordered. There was no road noise to wake you up which was really bonus, facilities where really clean and the added touch’s by the owners where nice, the dog walk around the field down by the river was lovely even tho we don’t have a dog. WiFi was good and the pitches were very big. Lovely walk into Pickering to have a wound around with a few pubs to taste the local beer. Plenty to do in the area but only there for 3 full days so need to return and do more.
