Lots of things to do in the area. The starter pack is comprehensive and gives lots of information. The site is tidy & clean. This is our fourth or fifth stay in our motorhome we don’t bother with awnings & extensions. The pitches are large with EHU and water. The super pitches for caravans are massive with all the amenities including waste water. The on site dog walking is easily the best in the country close to a mile around a mowed pathway past fauna & flora and a river - we saw a Barn Owl hunting over the field on our last visit. The toilets & showers are very clean & tidy but not many of them. We have never in all our stays had any problems as most visitors mostly use their own onboard facilities. We have been motor homing for a good many years and this is one of our Top Ten sites.

The owners couldn’t be more accommodating, even when we’d booked slot through ‘pitch up’ that didn’t exist. They rally around to make sure we had somewhere to stay even cutting a hedge so we could see the pond!Super friendly people. Very clean showers/toilets and beautiful rural spot.

What a gem! After three years of caravanning across England and Wales this has to be one of the best sites we have used. We love North Yorkshire as it is and the site and facilities were the icing on the cake. It ticked all the boxes - incredibly quiet with just 24 large and immaculately maintained fully serviced pitches. The facility blocks are clean and functional and there are some well laid out dog walks around the farm’s vicinity. A lovely Yorkshire welcome from the host greeted us on arrival and everything was fully explained with a detailed guide to facilities. We’ll definitely be looking to return next year!

We had a lovely stay at Westgate Carr Farm caravan site, the owners were lovely and friendly taking us to our pitch and going through the electricity procedure, very useful welcome pack, extremely clean, well looked after site, lovely dog walk with Alpacas en route, we will definitely return, thank you.

We were very impressed with the Caravan Park, lovely peaceful spot. Immaculately kept site with lovely beck side walk. We walked from the site into Pickering and took the Steam Train from Pickering to Goathland, then walked from Goathland to Grosmont and another Steam Train back to Pickering before walking back to the Park.We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be visiting again in the near future.Thank you - Tom and Jude 🥰
