Westgate Carr Farm has 20 large, all-weather, serviced caravan/motorhome pitches & 4 dedicated all-weather motorhome/campervan pitches in a backwater of just 4 pitches all set in 2.2 acres of parkland type, manicured grounds. The spacious pitches are purposely positioned around the perimeter of the Park with a large, open central space, many with Beech hedging in between affording privacy & definition. A quality picnic table is provided on each pitch as is 10A EHU, private water point & free wi-fi
In addition the Premier pitches & majority of Super pitches have grey waste drains & a drive-over grey waste drain is provided for Motorhomes & Campervans
Our toilet/shower block is small but luxurious with a single shower (£1 coins), 2 toilets & washbasins in both ladies & men's (who also have 2 urinals). Additionally the block has a separate "Disabled" room which is self contained & a small kitchen with washing machine together with an external pot wash area.
Morgan's Rest, our onsite luxury cottage is only available to book by phone/email as is Trackside Cottage, our stunning cottage in the heart of Pickering overlooking the NYMR.
With a strong focus on wildlife all guests have access to our dog walk/nature trail passing along our fields to/from the Costa Beck where an array of wildlife can often be seen including stoats, otters, roe deer as well as meeting our Shire/Clydesdale & Irish Sports Horses & Alpacas!
Being located just 1 mile from the A170 as it passes through Pickering in the stunning North Yorkshire countryside, the Park evades any noise or light pollution & is simply perfect for star gazing and a get away from it all holiday.

A 2 night stay, good facilities- one shower and two toilets in each separate male and female block , two sinks with privacy screen and one disabled block. Good sized pitches all with gravel standing and grass with beech hedges giving feeling of privacy. Hook up electric charged extra and £1 for 7 min shower. £4 for wash load. Well maintained site with attentive owners. Pleasant circular mile walk taking in wildlife by river and friendly alpacas.
Lovely cottage just what we needed and the sunshine rejuvenated us . Really helpful hosts. Thoroughly recommend and will return .
Brilliant cottage that we have returned to many times. Perfect quiet location with lots of extras in the cottage. They have thought of everything
A warm welcome was provided from the owner whi showed us to our pitch and confirmed where to find everything. The welcome pack was full of useful information for venuring off the site for pub food and places to visit etc.There are fresh eggs to putchase on site, which was lovely, we bought some to take home.The shower/toilet facility was lovely and clean, the only negative is the shower cutain trys to stick itself to you when you are showings, as the facility window is left open for ventilation, so this blows a draft in. Might not be an issue in the summer months, but was a little cold when it tried to stick to you in a hot shower.If walking from the site into Pickering at night, take a torch as the single track is not lit, but hardly any traffic down it, so very safe.A nice dog walk around the site fields with plenty of dog bins for waste.A lovely level pitch and easy access to the waste emptying facility and water on the pitch.I cant really fault this site.

Excellent site, amenities block exceptionally clean and modern, pitch spotless with water and grey water on pitch, Friendly welcome from great hosts. Dog walking area is excellent. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, will definitely be looking at coming back.
Stayed for the first time over a weekend and the site is lovely.Upon arrival we were given various instructions and a useful pack of information, before being shown to our plot.The site is very clean, as are the toilets and it's perfectly located for a stroll into Pickering.Definitely going to stay there again and would highly recommend it.
Great site within easy walking distance of Pickering, which has a good choice of pubs, cafes and restaurants. The site is immaculate and well laid out with spacious and level hard standing pitches. The grounds are well landscaped and I imagine that it will be beautiful in spring, summer and autumn.The shower blocks are very clean and modern however when we stayed the temperature was around 0 degrees and the heating in the shower blocks wasn't on so they were very cold. There is a well thought out dog walk around the site with plenty of bins for dog waste. There's loads of wildlife in and around the site, we didn't see the otters on this occasion but did see owls and deer. The owners are very friendly and helpful and guests are provided with an excellent welcome pack. I would definitely return as this is a fantastic site.
Was nice to get out in the caravan for the start of the season and what better place to start that than at Westgate Carr Farm, very accommodating owners in such a peace and tranquil area. Highly recommended
We had a really lovely stay for my partners birthday. The area is truly beautiful and the site is so well maintained and the views were amazing. We will 100% be staying here again. The one and only thing I would change was the 7 minutes for £1 for the showers, I had only just managed to get undressed, in the shower and wash my hair and body before the hot water went off and being pregnant, these things are hard work as it is! Maybe 10 minutes would just give people the chance to be fully finished and not have the anxiety of it finishing too early. But other than that we had a beautiful stay!
