We have stayed at Westgate Carr Farm several times and already booked for later in the year and for next year. There is always a warm welcome and nothing is too muck trouble for Dave and Karen. There is also Josh on hand to assist if there are any repairs or general servicing requirements.The site is well laid out with great amenities and a nice walking area. Pitches are serviced and are good sizes

Certainly one of the best sites we have stayed on. Excellent facilities, immaculate, welcoming. Could not fault it.

The site was peaceful and immaculate. Well looked after and relaxed.There were probably a few too many, do not signs for an adult only site. We should know how to behave.An enjoyable few days stay and will certainly return and recommend to friends.

I have been here many times now and there is a reason for that , because it’s fantastic. Whether you want to stay on the site all day and do nothing but relax there is no better place or just use it as a base and go off for days out to the lovely surrounding places. The designated dog walk is great, just the right length for a nice walk and meet the wildlife and Alpacas. Totally recommend this camp site .

What a great place to stay owners are brilliant with everyone couldn't ask for a better place & people worth a visit

We have used this camp site many times and will continue to do so. The camp site owners couldn't be more helpful, with Dave and Karen going out of their way to ensure we have a good stay. It is also wonderful to have a caravan engineer on site who is capable of fixing problems that may arise. The site is adults only so very peaceful and each pitch has plenty of space with its own picnic table. The site is beautifully kept with a few chickens wandering around. There is a mown walk that takes you past alpacas and a stream with ducks and swans. The shower block is kept spotlessly clean with a disabled unit. If you want, there is a fish pond where you can sit and enjoy the tranquillity. It is situated down a single track tarmacked lane which is a little bumpy. Totally recommend this site as it is a short car ride away from the Pickering to Whitby steam railway which is a delightful journey. Thank you once again Dave and Karen - see you again soon.

This was our second stay at Westgate Carr and it won’t be our last.The site is down a country lane within walking distance of Pickering.The adult only campsite is well laid out with good size level gravel pitches with many separated by beech hedges.Both times we have stayed we have had water and metered electricity on our pitch - you only pay for the electricity you use.The facilities block is immaculate, modern and kept clean by the lovely owners who are themselves motorhomers, so know what makes for a great camping experience. Will definitely be going back again soon.

From arriving to leaving was an enjoyable experience. Meeting with Dave on arrival we got a folder with plenty of information on both the site and surrounding area. Pitches are a great size and well maintained. Toilets and showers spotless, and all the walks around the park are also well maintained. I would call it a hidden gem and adult only tops it off. Son Josh went above and beyond to help with our problem and also Dave helped us out tremendously. Anyone should have a great quiet stay with plenty of wildlife.

As per usual, excellent stay. Dave , Karen and their son Josh very hospitable and went above and beyond when there was a slight issue with additional car.We will be back, well we are in a few weeks.

Such a lovely site , well spaced plots , good circular dog walk on site passing Alpaca ? Field and down to a river . The toilet and shower facilities were immaculately clean , liked the piped music playing .Had a very chill and peaceful night stay on this well cared for spotless site .
