Inside, you’ll find a small double bed with a memory foam mattress, a feather duvet and pillows, and 100% cotton linens. Egyptian cotton towels, toiletries, tea, coffee, sugar, and salt/pepper are all provided, along with glassware, plates, cutlery, utensils, and cookware. Cosy blankets tucked away in the wardrobe ensure extra comfort during your stay.

Cosy up next to the log burner or pamper yourself in the private hydropool hot-tub under the stars. This fabulous, cosy barn conversion is compact, bijou and perfect as a romantic retreat for two. Gaia Lodge, a former piggery, nestles in an elevated position on the Derbyshire and Staffordshire border which falls within the southern area of the Peak District National Park.

Gaia Lodge boasts panoramic views of the undulating countryside, dotted with natural hedgerows and dry stone walls; so characteristic of the Derbyshire Dales.

The warm, gritstone cottage has been newly renovated with much love after a fire in June 2024, with handmade exposed Douglas fir King-post trusses, natural stone flooring and a modern log-burner for cosy nights in. The cottage is lavishly furnished with hand-made linen curtains and blinds, goose-feather & down pillows and duvet. We also have Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels and fluffy dressing gowns. It is enhanced further by fully controllable underfloor heating for toasty toes!

The kitchen has a quartz worktop with quality fixtures and fittings and modern appliances, including a dishwasher.

Gaia’s Hideaway is a magical retreat tucked away in a secluded corner of Upper Hurst Farm Caravan and Camping site. Accessible via a charming path from the South-East corner of the site, this peaceful haven is surrounded by trees, natural hedgerows, and offers breathtaking views of the rolling Peak District hills.

Step outside your yurt each morning to the enchanting sight of the sunrise and the symphony of birdsong—pure tranquility awaits. The South-East facing aspect ensures a perfect balance of dappled shade and all-day sunshine, making the spacious patio area ideal for sunbathing or simply unwinding in nature’s embrace.

Inside, Gaia’s Hideaway is thoughtfully equipped for your convenience. The kitchenette features a fridge with freezer compartment, induction hob, air fryer, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, and microwave, along with all the necessary crockery, cutlery, and utensils. Just pack your essentials and let us take care of the rest!

Each pitch is a minimum of 11m2, making them very spacious. Two thirds of the pitch is hardstanding, and one third is grass.

Awnings must be pitched onto the hardstanding, so don't forget to bring rock pegs!

Some pitches are on a gentle slope so please bring levelling blocks just in case.

Continental/European units may be asked to pitch themselves the same way as British vans depending on how busy we are.

For anyone with additional needs please call in advance so we can locate you on a pitch which is close to the facilities should you need them.

Please note, we only accept tent bookings with a maximum size of 30sqm.

Tent pitches ample in size, but we can only accept bookings for tents with a maximum footprint of 30sqm including any gazebos or additional structures.

Tent pitches are located on the tent field in a circle, creating a central space which is clear of tents. This provides a friendly layout, ideal for keeping small children safe.

There is a separate area on the North field for ball games, so please encourage children not to play near other tents.

Each tent pitch has its own designated parking space which is a maximum of 40m from the pitch and is located next to the tent field itself. If you need a pitch with a parking space next to your pitch, please call in advance.

Tent pitches are subject to a maximum 7 night stay. Alternatively you can book onto one of our superpitches and pitch onto the hardstanding if you want to stay longer than this.
