Check in wonderful. Owners wonderful. Site wonderful. Facilities wonderful. Adult only wonderful. Metered electric wonderful. Dont change anything. Our stay was absolutely perfect!

Overall a fantastic site, the only down side that is that our unit is 22ft long and trying to shunt it into the small pitches was a little challenge (we had to do this with a twin axel with no motor movers) but other than that the toilets and showers were spotless, the dog play area is absolutely amazing 🤩 it’s really a very peaceful and pleasant experience

Lovely campsite, very pretty. Staff were so friendly and welcoming Showers, toilet and washing up area were so nice and the cleanest I have used. Great dog walking area. Thank you for a great stay, we will definitely be back.

Excellent the wardens are brilliant. They deserve a medal for the effort they put in and are really knowledgeable on wildlife and nature site is beautiful and a credit to them both. I learned a lot about squirrels 🐿️

We had a very relaxing break at Woodland Caravan Park. It’s a beautiful setting amongst the trees providing dappled sunshine and enough shade on hotter days. A real ‘get away from it all’ chilled environment. We came here for a relaxed break, intending just to relax and re-charge and it was perfect for this. The facilities were always spotless with hot showers and lovely little washing up area. The information room/laundry room was extensive, including a substantial wall of DVD’s to borrow, lots of useful leaflets and maps and a handy kitchen area with a microwave/air fryer which again, was spotless. Electric hook up only, with plenty of fresh water points close by. We felt that the campsite was excellent value for money. Ruth and David were so welcoming and friendly, were always there for any advice about the surrounding area and they went above and beyond with any additional help. A big thank you to them for a lovely break in their beautiful campsite and we look forward to returning.

Spent 2 days at woodlands enjoyed everything about the site the facilities were spotless the owners are a lovely friendly couple who will go out of there way to help you will definitely be back

Loved the location of this site in the woods. Spacious, level pitch and spotlessly clean shower facilities. Owners are very welcoming and friendly. We loved the option of a linked weekend and took advantage of this over the summer which gave us two lovely short breaks as we only live an hour away. Easy to access off the A515 too. Looking forward to returning for a third visit next year all being well.

This is a lovely adult only site set amongst pine trees. Upon arrival we received a warm welcome from the owners and we were shown to our pitch. We had booked a pitch without and awning and it was still really large - we were able to pitch our van how we wanted to which was nice. The facilities were good and spotlessly clean at all times of the day. The fenced dog walking area was in the shade all day which was great during the heatwave as was the van so it was lovely sitting out in the dappled sunlight. At reception they stock essentials and lovely local cakes, ice cream and soft drinks, all reasonably priced too. There are walks from the site along country roads and footpaths, some of the ones we did were nice but a little overgrown in places. Lots of places to visit just a short drive away too. We had a great stay at the site and will definitely book again.

A lovely adult only site located in woodland. We cycled into Ashbourne (a couple of hills) which has lots to offer. There are also numerous walks starting from the site. The facilities are spotless with a shower block, dog walk area, pot washing and small reception/shop. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners - thank you!

We chose Woodlands as our first experience of staying in our new campervan. It wasn’t too far from home but far enough to feel we had gone away. The aim was to try everything out and make sure we knew what we were doing. Have to say we learnt lots over 2 nights away which will hopefully keep us in good stead in the future.Have to say we couldn’t have chosen a better venue. Lovely owners and amazingly clean facilities in a lovely quiet setting which has been well thought out. We deliberately wanted an adults only site with having a dog who can be reactive but she absolutely loved in and behaved impeccably. If you want to just get away and enjoy peace and quiet we thoroughly recommend Woodlands. We will definitely be back in the future!
