Pomeroy is a lovely, clean, and quiet site which we have used for many years. It's central location within the Peak District gives easy access to many beautiful walks as well as most of the towns and villages in the area. The site's fully serviced pitches mean water, waste, and electricity are sorted within a few short minutes, leaving plenty of time to sit back and savour one of their home-made ice creams. The toilet block is modern, clean, and fully accessible. Showers are free (included in the price) so there is no need to be saving the small change to pay for your hygiene.

Always enjoy staying here, the animals and Ice cream make this ideal for families and being straight on the high peak trail means you can also get about on a bike. The only thing that would make this stay better for us, is to have a step for children in the toilets. Just to help with boys and hand washing.

Excellent campsite, great facilities will definitely visit again

We were a group of friends and children aged 7-16 and there was something for everyone. We all had a wonderful weekend thank you. Staff all friendly and attentive, very clean facilities, and the ice cream is wonderful! We also loved the milkshake machine and fresh milk. All the animals are gorgeous and to be enjoyed by any age group. Overall a wonderful stay thank you 🙏

We fancied a change from our normal site in the peak district,and this one really passed with flying colours. The toilets were exceptional,very smart. We liked the fresh milk dispenser outside the reception. The royal Oak pub which is 2-3 miles away was a good traditional pub,and the food was of a very high standard. All in all the site was well worth finding.

Lovely clean and warm showers, wonderful ice cream and full cream milk. Pitch was a good size and fully serviced. The only negative is that the grey waste pipe on the pitch is uphill from the pitch so it wouldn't drain. No big problem, just reverted to the waste tank as normal.We will be staying here again.

Easy access for a motorhome, spotlessly clean, top facilities including toilet block, washing up. Great pitches well laid out great views, quiet as it is set back from the road . The icecream top quality the farm pets are a fantastic addition and for me the large secure dog field made my break a game changer, having a large German shepherd . I’ll also bring my huskies next time that I could never let off lead without this field My pitch has its own water as well as a 16 amp hook up and the cost was very reasonable

It is great for biking however the showers lacked heat and water pressure and it was busy but the toilets weren’t kept on top off with cleaning and toilet roll for the number of people on the campsite.

My son and I stayed here for 4 nights.We had a great time. It was close to Buxton and shops and pubs were not too far away.We ate ice cream every day and my son loved feeding the animals, particularly the goats.The shower facilities were well maintained and everything was close by.I would definitely recommend.Thank you
