This is a lovely site to visit, we came for a weekend away and site is in a good loaction for visting the local area and local walks. We enjoyed feeding the animals on the farm and making a milk shake. The staff are lovely and friendly and make you feel very welcome. We had a lovely meal at the Royal Oak and the Bull. It was great that you can walk on a country trail all the way to the pubs so that you are not on the road. The site has good facilities that are kept clean and warm, the only thing to improve is the push button showers go off way too quickly. We will be back.

Great site clean comfortable with good facilities, cant fault anything with the site but wish the weather had been better, but hay! That fully enclosed dog exercise field was a great addition for my Belgian Malinois. Best i have seen...

Situated right on the High Peak trail and Pennine Bridleway it’s ideal for cycling or walking the local trails. Excellent facilities and great ice cream. Pub 200 yds or so up the way.

We've been to this site about three times now, mainly en route to Yorkshire but have thoroughly enjoyed the location, facilities, staff helpfulness and friendliness. We especially like the warm wash facilities and the immaculate cleanliness of those facilities.We would like to return to stay for a proper break of a few days or more next time.

Been to Pomeroy a few times now, and will certainly be going back.A fantastic site, well positioned for walkers, bikers and general sightseeing. Well maintained with fantastic facilities and amenities, the site offers pitches for caravans, tourers and tents. Dog & child friendly and you can bring fire pits to sit around, or hire them from the site of needed.A couple of great pubs within a 20 minute walk, friendly staff and fantastic views.

I've stayed at Pomeroy several times now, last time was a grass pitch (in a campervan) where it was a bit mushy, this time back on a hard standing which was perfect. It can get busy in the shower block when the DoE are camping but they were absent this time so not a problem. The best part of this site is the cycling, southwards to the tissington trail all the way down to Ashbourne or head east if you prefer. Being ex rail routes they're nice flat and easy. Or, go north for plenty of rougher routes. We didn't eat out this time but there are 2/3 pubs within walking distance. If you like your fresh milk, there is a machine onsite using tokens purchased from the shop, just bring along a clean container or purchase one when getting your tokens. Even if you're just passing it's worth a stop for an ice cream. Recommended and we look forward to returning.

Lovely campsite. Very clean and tidy and everyone friendly. Shower block and toilets were kept clean all the time. The shop is great too. definitely be back.

This site was in a great location. The whole site and all facilities were spotlessly clean. The lady on reception who ran the lovely shop was friendly and welcoming. The animals on site were really well cared for. We love having a dogs field for our dogs to burn off some energy and we also had a fabulous walk from the site. A very nice weekend.

Just what we needed stay. Very nice lady in the office. Very clean. Facilities were spotless. Nice touch with the farm animals, great for us older kids :)Close enough to have a very pleasant walk to chrome hill ( dragons back, see pic)Overall a great campsite with an added bonus of fresh milk straight from the source and ice cream that’s out of this world. That good we had it for breakfast !!!!!

Really lovely site. Toilet/shower blocks are best I’ve ever seen and ice creams were to die for.
