Good location for walking routes

Excellent place to stay in a caravan, tent or motor home, superb clean facilities and a petting farm for the children, easy access to the high peak trails for cyclists or hikers, not forgetting that they sell some of the best homemade ice cream in the area

We booked on the campsite following a recommendation from a friend and are so pleased that we did! The campsite has everything, a lovely little shop, super clean facilities! A lovely little farm, Ice Cream and the most beautiful wildflowers! The field space around was brill- the ball games or a dog walking field were beautiful and always with plenty of space. Our tent pitch was very spacious and spot on for our 3 night stay.

Amazing campsite, family friendly with free access to the farm. Fresh delicious farm milk, clean showers and pot wash area. Definitely recommend

This is possibly one of the nicest campsites I have ever stayed on. It was the perfect size, nothing was too far away and it didn’t get too noisy. The washroom facilities were some of the best and cleanest I’ve seen and having access to animals and ice cream too was the icing on the cake! There was some road noise but this didn’t really bother us and there were quite a few flies about but this is to be expected when staying on a dairy farm. We will definitely come back!

Pomeroy campsite is an excellent site with amazing facilities, plenty of space all nestles in a beautiful part of the peak district not far from Buxton. The views are really amazing and there's access right onto the north end of the high peak trail and the tissington trail. It's perfectly placed for making the most of these amazing routes. I took a tent pitch with electric hookup as I was touring on an ebike. Checkin was quick and easy via the little shop that had standard supplies including gas and stoves if you need them as well as ice-cream, there's sorbet if you don't do dairy like me. The pitch was no fuss and using the electric point was really easy.It is a very popular site and for good reason, if you have kids it's got a great play area, fire pits are available and some folks brought their own. Lovely little site, clean facilities with a nice ice cream parlour and camping essentials in the shop. Short walk to a pub and short drive to Buxton. Would prefer marked out pitches in the non electric field as neighbours did pitch up too close with overlapping guy ropes

The animal farm and wild flower meadow are highlights. Next time think I’d look to book a pitch with one of the wonderful views
