There is a warm Dales welcome waiting for you at Studfold caravan, camping and glamping park. Whether you’re a family with children, couple, or sole adventurer, you’ll love the Nidderdale Experience. There’s so much to enjoy, and wonderful surroundings to relax in.
We have 38 extra large, flat, well-drained grass pitches for tents, caravans, camper vans and motorhomes, 26 with electric hook-up. And we have four locally made, exciting glamping pods, situated at the edge of the field, each able to sleep a family of four (two adults and two children), or a maximum of three adults. The pitches and glamping pods are organised for maximum space and comfort for all, and are very near to the large, level play area for children, perfect for ball games and running around. There is also access to the beck trickling alongside the campsite where children love to play and build dams. Fun for the little ones too, but they will need an adult with them.
Our outstanding facilities include electric hook ups, sparkling-clean toilet and shower block, as well as undercover cooking and socialising shelter (invaluable in wet weather), fire pits and WIFI vouchers. We also have the wonderful Nidderdale Way Cafe run by Julia, where you can enjoy an easy, delicious breakfast, as well as homemade snacks and treats throughout the day (weekends and local school holidays only).
What sets Studfold apart from other sites is that there is so much to do, on and off the site. Our famous Adventure Trail, renowned for its fairies and celebration of all things nature is part of Studfold, and is a fantastic family attraction, right on your caravan, tent or pod doorstep! If you book the Trail online as part of your stay you will get 2 days of entry for the price of 1 (dependent on the Trail being open).
The Lost Earth Adventures activities are also readily available. And there are many beautiful walks, of all ability levels, starting from Studfold. You’ll find an amazing Yorkshire Dales base at Studfold for exploring Nidderdale and North Yorkshire.
The pods have lighting, electric points and are fully insulated. Suitable for up to 2 adults and 2 children.
The increasingly popular, warm, dry and deceptively large camping pods have arrived at Studfold. Situated in the Caravan and Camping Park the Studfold Pods promise to offer a whole new experience.
The pod has lighting and is fully insulated. Inside there are two bed bases that can be used as singles or fastened together to for a double, with plenty of carpeted floor space for a further two mattresses (please note that you will need to supply your own inflatable mattresses and bedding). When staying in one of our Pods you have complete access to our camping facilities which include -Washing machine, Freezer for Iceblocks, Wifi, Family room and Baby change.

Pod 2 is a dog friendly pod, without bed bases. It has the same facilities as the other pods but no bed bases. Visitors can bring 1 clean and well-behaved dog. The dog must not be left in or around the pod on its own, it must be kept on a lead and walked off the Park. This pod also has an outdoor ‘dog pod’ kennel.

All pitches are grass, flat and well drained. Electric hook ups are available. Dogs are also welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.
The park consists of two acres of flat grassland with easy access and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. All pitches are grass, flat, well drained and extra large. Electric hook ups are available but appliances should be specifically designed for caravanning or camping. The pitch fees include showers, deep sinks and hair dryers in the ladies' facilities.
There is plenty of space for touring caravans, tents and motorhomes and we are particularly keen to welcome families. Dogs are also welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times and walked off the site.

had my very first camper experience here and it was absolutely amazing! The place was very clean, stylish, and surrounded by stunning nature. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made everything even better. What impressed me the most was the cleanliness of the facilities — I have honestly never seen restrooms this spotless at a campsite before. This experience really encouraged me to do more camper trips in the future. Highly recommended!
We really enjoyed our time at Studfold. The pod we stayed in was spotless and it was great to have a kettle and mugs! The showers and wash up areas were clean and the water always hot.The site itself is beautiful and really well kept.We really appreciated the hot food cart that came on one of the days, to save us cooking. The trail was such good fun and the kids really loved it. They had thought of everything, from different age groups to small details that kept all children engaged the whole time.Highly recommend
We have recently returned from a two night camping stay. We travelled with our four-year-old boy and friends with two children aged three and eight. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, even though we’re not usual campers, the whole process of setting up was seamless and the facilities on site were exactly what we needed. We included the fairy trail during our stay which I highly recommend! The fact that you could order a picnic to be delivered halfway through the trail with such a great idea, and the price of the picnic items was excellent. All in all we had a great day and we all said that we would definitely be back! One small tip is to take some bug spray/lotion as we all got bitten a lot!
Very clean quiet site the only issue was the damn miggies !!!!!
Wonderful campsite with large pitches so you are not on top of each other. The staff welcome was very friendly and they couldn't do enough for us. Our pitch backed onto the river with the sound of running water which was great. The facilities were ideal and cleaned regularly. We camped here so i could take my daughter to the Fairy Trail which again was perfect, we preordered a picnic which was deliverd to the halfway point for lunch. It was the meteor shower when we were there and fortunately had clear skies to capture the event. The How Stean Gorge was just around the corner, we only went for a walk (had to pay but we can go back every day for the next 3 months should we wish) but there is a cafe there and some activities for everyone, abseiling, Zip wires, canyoning etc.All in all a great stay and we will definitely return
Our grandchildren loved the Fairy Trail, and the staff were extremely friendly and obliging by going that extra mile.
Lots of options for hiking & for more adventurous How Stean gorge in walking distance as well as 2 really good pubs.
Loved our stay here no criticism of all facilities. If I had obe thing I would ask for is for shop to carry a few essentials like bread milk etc
Great pitch size with electric , slightly uneven for the pull out awning on the motorhome but we managed. Lots of space for the children to play cricket , ride bikes and make friends with others onsite. Facilities were very clean and plenty of hot water for showers, adjacent to the pitches.Staff very friendly in the coffee shop and informative and friendly in the shop for our fairy walk, added bonus of taking our picnic up to the barn whilst we made our way around the fairy trail , the fairy trail was just delightful, the grandchildren and we as adults thought it was so lovely , fun to work out the gate numbers with clues and spot all the rabbits along the way.Coffee shop was a nice welcome sight at the end of the trail for a cupa, cake and ice cream and very reasonably priced. The shop could have had a few more basic provisions such as bread and butter as there is always something you forget to pack and maybe the all in one travel toiletries. Stunning location with beautiful scen
