This was our first time out this year in our caravan, a local site close to home! We requested one of the new fully service pitches and the wardens were fantastic in providing such a pitch for us. Unfortunately the weather was really bad on this visit with near to gale force winds, kept us awake at night thinking the awning was going to take flight…We can't fault this site hence why we keep returning. (Note, currently have an April offer "three nights for the cost of two") The facilities are spotless. Small village of Hope 10 minute walk away with a couple of pubs and a small Spar shop not to forget the curry cabin restaurant which I would highly recommend.

Stayed again at Laneside Caravan Park as a base to explore the Peak District. The site is in a perfect location and I walked from the site up Win Hill one day, up onto Lose Hill and along the Great Ridge to Mam Tor on another, plus I walked to Castleton and then up Cave Dale in a circular route back to Hope. Its also 5 minutes from the railway station which I used to go one hop to Edale and then walk a circular route over Kinder Scout. On a couple of rainy days I used the train to visit Manchester and Sheffield. The only time I took the car for a day out was the short drive through Tideswell and onto Millers Dale for lunch in the cafe followed by a walk along the Monsal Trail along to the Monsal head viaduct and back. As for the site itself, the facilities are excellent and I took advantage of the new Serviced Pitches to make the stay even easier. I'll be back, possibly later this year.

Perfect spot, excellent site, bit chaotic with toilet block cleaning regime ie both closed for no apparent reason ( both days of our visit) but certainly return this year.

Lansside is a great place to stop weather in a tourer or tent toilet and shower facilities A1 fantastic can warm up to date Beautiful walks into hope castleton plus many more great pubs and restaurants all within easy walking distance in the heart of the peaks A must stay

Lovely campsite with great facilities. The toilet/shower block is first class, warm and clean. The pitches are pretty flat. The location is ideal for a 5 minute walk to Hope and its Spar and pubs, and only a half hour walk to Castleton. A really good campsite.

Easy access well signposted off the main road. Friendly staff who escorted you to your plot. The plots have plenty of space so you can sit outside. The facilities are modern and excellent. Idea location to explore Hope and Castleton with bus stop right outside the campsite.

This is a very well maintained and perfectly located site. It has large pitches, immaculate and very modern shower block, a small shop and just a short 5 minute walk away from the village centre with pubs, cafes, a small supermarket and the best ever Indian takeaway and restaurant. There are lots of walks in and around the area and fantastic views from the site. The site fees were very reasonable with unmetered ehu. I can think of nothing negative to say. We will be back!

Arrived on site and a nice and friendly welcome , all weather pitch was expected electric and water location close by.The park was very clean and good shower and toilet facilities , drying room was a must as it rained almost every day and the dryers very useful.Nice veiw of the river , will definitelybook again.

Lovely site in the beautiful hope valley, the new facilities are excellent. We will return.

Everything about this campsite is brilliant. The pitch was clean and of a good size, the toilet block was excellent and always open, and the staff were polite and friendly. It’s ideally suited for walking and sightseeing, the pubs and restaurants in the village itself were very average, but we found the Cheshire Cheese, about a 10 minute walk away, to be very good, food and beverages. This trip we hardly used the car, but from past experience there’s several places of interest within a short journey. Will definitely return.
