The site field is nicely situated on the edge of Kettlewell, with a short walk to the centre (through the graveyard!). Toilets and showers were fine, as were the UHU points.We were there in a wet week and the ground felt a little soft. We didn't have any trouble in a VW van with wide tyres, but I was a bit nervous and I'd be very careful later in the Winter. I'm sure it's lovely in the Summer, though!Seemed a bit pricey at £34/night for a 5m van, two people and a dog with EHU.

Have camped here many times. Great location, spotless facilities, hot showers, fridge and freezer available to use.Friendly owner and it's never been overly busy when I've stayed. Highly recommended and I will be returning.

On downside is after you have been for a few beers the campsite is really dark,otherwise all good,I will be returning. Thankyou

The site is ideally situated and has excellent facilities. The shower/toilet block is clean, and the hot showers are included in the price of the site. The site owner is friendly and helpful. I have stayed at the site about 5 times over the last few years and always enjoy it. Kettlewell is a beautiful village with some excellent pubs.

Excellent free clean showers with plenty of hot water. Site on the edge of village with easy access to the two pubs. Recommend booking a table a weekends as it can get busy. Lovely walk up Great Whernside and along to Buckden Pike with a cheeky pint in the lovely Fox and Hounds in Starbottom upon our return. Food in the Greyhound in Kettlewell is lovely, highly recommend the Barnsley chop. Great location for walking or cycling in the dales. Definitely would return.

Camped for 2 nights with my son as part of a motorcycle trip. The site is in a beautiful location right in the middle of the dales and within walking distance of local pubs and shop. We were particularly impressed with the nice modern toilet/ shower block with its under floor heating! That was very pleasant after a cold October night in a tent! Will definitely come again!

The site is great, very modern clean facilities, lovely pubs near by. Very flat and ideal for tents. However I really struggled with the noise from the church next door, which chimes the hour and every quarter all through the night. Probably not an issue for a lot of people, but I didn't sleep at all. If it wasn't for that I would definitely be a regular here for weekend walks.

I’m so happy we chose to stay here! Great choice. Couldn’t recommend it more highly — relaxed and friendly owner but all well organised, clean and brilliant facilities (amazing toilets and showers, some of the best I’ve stayed at), efficient processes eg. recycling etc, and in a beautiful location, near excellent walks and pubs. And all for very reasonable price. Hope to stay again soon.

Brilliant site with top facilities. Really hop to return in the spring.
