Great stay. Great walks. Great pub nearby. Great value, Amazing views.

We have stayed in Buckden camping pods a few times. It is our favourite place to stay! I booked my last trip to Buckden camping, as a night away, to escape every-day life for a bit. Can’t recommend this place enough. Beautiful village, stunning views, cute and warm pods and very accommodating and friendly hosts. I recommend all my friends and family. Book a stay … you won’t regret it!!

Ideally situated for some challenging walks with various pubs around the area to tempt you in on your adventures. The camp site it’s self was clean and tidy on our visit and we felt welcomed by the owner.The facilities were well maintained and we had no issues and hope to return in the future My only concern would be the number of showers and toilets available if the site was busy.

Great pod in a spectacular location. A comfortable mattress, a kettle in the room and wifi (did not see that one coming). There is a bathroom on site which is a good one. Fantastic views,in every direction and very peaceful.

Stayed in the Highland pod for 2 nights with my brother. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful and the pod (along with the other facilities on site) was very clean. It was nice to find that some tea, coffee and milk were provided in the pod,along with the kettle. We climbed Buckden Pike (in the rain!) but the pub is nice and near to get warm and dry. Would definitely stay again.

My first time at Buckden and we were really impressed with the facilities, the welcome, the cleanliness and just the spot itself. First rate and will definitely return.

I was on a motorcycle trip through Ireland and the UK and of course couldn't resist taking a nice tour through the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Since the weather wasn't that great (wet and chilly) and I didn't want to put up my tent for my last night in the UK, I saw it as a great opportunity to stay in a pod. And I was not disappointed: what a luxury not having to pitch your tent in wet weather and only have to get our your sleeping bag and be done. The pod has a small heater: not big enough to heat the entire pod, but enough to keep the chill outside. There's also a kettle for warm water, which is a nice extra. For dinner I went to The Buck Inn, just opposite the road which was also fantastic. Unfortunately, since the campsite is at a working farm, I never saw or spoke to the owner of the camping: a sign at the entrance said to just go to the reserved pod and make yourself comfortable. The toilets are clean and the shower is pleasant and very warm. All in all I had a great stay.

Generous sized ‘pitch where you want’ pitches with picnic table and paving slab to put a bbq on. I liked the fact that the pitches are marked up so you have got a lot of space that is yours for the duration. Lovely quiet location with excellent free WiFi. Washing area with hot water (have been to some sites where they only provide cold water to wash up in). Shower and toilet facilities very clean. A great site with a pub across the road. I didn’t visit the pub as I only stayed one night. The only thing missing for me was no camp fire as they are not permitted on this site but I understand why. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Excellent location with beautiful scenery. Tom the camp caretaker and his wife Mo were very helpful and friendly. We are returners and will be coming back in the future.

Great location for this area of North Yorkshire. Pod was clean and spacious with nice touches such as an electric kettle. The toilet and shower facilities were modern and clean. The Avon anti-midge spray was a nice touch. There’s a pub opposite. The starts were incredible as no light pollution. An idyllic setting.
