Park Description

Upwood Holiday Park is set in the Heart of Bronte Country just outside the village of Haworth in West Yorkshire. The park caters for touring, camping, glamping and static holiday homes for hire. The park enjoys panoramic views over the beautiful surrounding countryside. There is a bar/restaurant and small shop onsite. For children, there is an indoor soft play area and games room, as well as a modern outdoor playground. The park also has direct access to various moorland paths, ideal for long country walk with beautiful views.

Touring and Camping: There is a range of hard standing and grass pitches with and without electric hook-up.

Glamping and Yurts: The standard Pods offer more security and protection from the elements than staying in a tent. They are well insulated, have lighting and an electric socket. Holiday Caravans: Upwood Park have a range of holiday caravans available to hire for weekly and short breaks.

Cottage: The onsite cottage 'Quarry Bank House' has three bedrooms and is available for weekly stays all year.

There are amazing views and Haworth itself offers lots of pubs art shops and great places to eat. We have used the bar on site and recently discovered the lovely little beer garden! We haven’t eaten there yet but plan on doing next time. We highly recommend this place and plan on retiring here in a static!

Only notice because my baby is crawling and kept picking it up. Stronger vacuum maybe. Very pleasant and comfortable stay again. However neighbours behind us in 104 very noisy and disrespectful. Park rules state 3m gap between static’s and they had a gazebo table and chairs and barbecue outside backing directly onto our bedrooms. Was very noisy and no privacy at all. My baby had a throat infection and fever and had to go to hospital and struggled to sleep as a result on the Saturday night. Other neighbours were stopping me who are residents to express there upset with this particular family, also which was sad to hear.

"Camping pod"

Anonymous - Stayed with family, Aug 2019

The basic camping pod was good though a bit cramped for a family of 4 with older children. The park is lovely and quiet with stunning views and nice walks from it. Will be going back next year but staying in larger accommodation

The megapod had everything we needed. The campsite was very well kept, clean and tidy. The children, ages nine to eleven, loved the football area and going to play pool and air hockey in the Games Room. We visited a National Trust house, East Riddlesden Hall, which had large grounds where children could build dens and explore, a lovely cafe and interesting house. Cliffe Castle was a fascinating place and free, also had a large play area and great cafe. We also went to Haworth, Harrogate and Bingley country park. All in all, Yorkshire is a great place for all the family to explore!

Very neat and well maintained site with excellent facilities for children and adults alike. Great playground. Good number of cubicles in toilets. Showers operate on 50p but you get a decent shower time for that. I have very long hair and it was plenty of time for me to wash, condition that and rinse thoroughly as well as the rest. Favourite part of the facilities was the separate cubicles for face washing. Usually washing your face takes up a standard basin or I've seen some people using toilet cubicles to do their makeup, so these are great. Location is very windy on top.of a mount! The wind woke me up a couple of mornings but actually with earplugs it was fine. We went in August and hit by wasps but that's to be expected at that time. Children loved the indoor soft play and there is a great little bar too if it rains. Can't recommend the food as didn't eat there but catered for lots of diets by looking at menu. Washing up facilities very good. Water nice and hot but not scalding. Extra considerate staff on this site. One morning before everyone was up they moved an extra picnic table we were not using to the tents next door because they didn't have one. Will be coming back.
