We used Vale of Pickering site for a 3 night stay to go biking in Dalby Forest. The site is ideal for anyone biking or walking in the Dalby or Yorkshire moors area, the site is easy to get to, has nice large hard standings with plenty of turning circle, ideal for those of us new to caravanning. The facilities were kept very clean, there is a decent site shop and an on site cafe. It is also a quiet site with noise requested to be kept down after 11pm, which was certainly the case for our few nights. We will definetly be back, and if you do stay highly recommend the superb pub in Allerston, the Cayley Arms, for a meal.

"Best shower block I’ve seen"

L Miles - Stayed with family, May 2019

We camped for 2 nights with a toddler. She loves the children’s play area - very impressive. The showers and toilets were the nicest I’ve seen on a campsite / caravan park. What a treat!
