We love it so much that we applied for a store and stay option and have been lucky enough to secure this. We try to come as often as we can, which still never feels enough and we dread leaving. The park is so beautiful, the site and facilities are immaculate and the grounds are so well kept. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the scenery is to die for. The ease of access is fantastic, it is central so that we can get to all our favourite places (Thornton-le- Dale, Pickering, Malton, Whitby, Scarborough, and Filey) which are all just on the doorstep. The onsite Café (Oakwood) offers delicious food at a very reasonable price, the burgers and stone baked pizzas are not to be missed. All in all this is like our second home and we can't wait to return.

Toilets/ showers, laundry and pot wash area etc were spotless and thoughtfully equipped. Baths available for young children- not seen this at a campsite before. Very useful for little ones. The site is a nice size- not too big so it’s never a huge walk to the loo! We had an electric hook up tent pitch which was sheltered and a generous size. My only gripe was our pitch was a bit pot holey- but I can’t say this was noticeable once the tent was up. Lovely location. The nearby pub- Providence Inn is great for food too.
