Loverly staff and great site for a nine metre motor home toilets excellent Bus to Scarborough and Bridlington out side the very good tow bar pub with an excellent children’s play area We will be back 👍
Poor workmanship, poor design should have been left as they were
Stayed here lots of times excellent camp site now the upgraded shower block has been refurbished .
Fantastic place to revisit, can't wait to get back. All staff are lovely and polite and site is spotlessly clean even after a full refurb on the toilet block. Extremely happy and looking forward to staying again
Great location for the beach at Cayton, and coastal walks to Scarborough and Filey. With a games room, play areas and pub on site families well catered for.The tourers toilet block was undergoing renovation so some teething problems encountered there, such as unfinished shower cubicles. The new facilities would benefit from some waste bins, and mirrors in the hand washing area. There was also no means to mop up after a shower, so resulted in very wet floors, was drainage an issue? Jet stream from shower was poor in the men’s facilities, and the block overall was cold, not good while undressed LOL. A bin in the pot wash would also be welcome. But despite these issues a good site and would recommend.
Lovely stay for a few days. This is our second visit and it didn't disappoint. Friendly staff and clean facilities. The only thing I was really disappointed with but unsure if connected was the Towbar pub, I had booked a table approx a week before our stay for the Saturday night. I asked for dog friendly area and a high chair. Upon arrival it was very busy and they had sat us in the non dog friendly area right at the side of the bar. The manager said it was ok as it was their error but then the highchair had no straps on it so my 1 year old was trying to climb out all the time. I asked for another one and was told they were all in use. It wasn't safe for my 1 year old and I am not quite sure why this highchair was still been used. Given it was so busy and we had been sat with 2 dogs (one a doberman) so near the bar made this impossible for us to stay. I had 3 hungry kids with no food at our caravan to then having to be driving around on a saturday night trying to find somewhere to eat.
Brilliantly located on the coast between Scarborough and Filey, you could not wish for a more friendly, welcoming and well organised site.
We discovered this site about 5 years ago quite by accident. What a find it was. It is incorporated in with static caravans while still maintaining its own identity. The pitches are spacious and well maintained is the whole site The toilet/shower block has just been completely refurbished. The receptionists are always friendly, as are all the other staff. Entrance to the site at night is barrier controlled with a swipe card. Pitch prices are very competative & include electricity. There is a pub on site serving excellent meals with generous portions. The prices are very reasonable as are the bar prices.Outside the pub is a huge beer garden with play areas for children. There is a bus stop right outside the gate with buses to all the neighbouring resorts. (Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington)
Great value for money site immaculately clean throughout would have been 5 stars had the new toilet block been opened beautifull beaches 15 minute walk ( steep hill but worth it ) only negative was the Towbar pub ran out of a lot of items on the Sunday ( mothers day ) not sure if this is privately run or belongs to the site will definitely be returning soon
