Highlight for us having 2 dogs is the access to a large dog walk, which they loved. Good access to local amenities and plenty to see & do, there are some lovely village to visit. Only down side local pub to site was having a kitchen refit so not serving food, but this did not spoil out great holiday. Would visit this site again.

"All Good"

Mr A Brown - Stayed with partner, May 2018

Stayed for a week in May. Very well kept site with friendly staff. Showers a little on the cool side but it was warm weather when we stayed so not really an issue for us.

Mr M Wood - Stayed with partner, May 2018

I think that all pitches should have water and drainage but would not deter us from stopping again

"Our latest stay"

Mr L Morrill - Stayed with partner, May 2018

We've started at vale of pickering a number of times over the last 5years and we love it. Peaceful quiet site with day trips to hand without driving miles... site looked after to a very high standard especially with the new bigger shower facilities and new cafe area.... Peaceful quiet site with day trips to hand without driving miles... site looked after to a very high standard especially with the new bigger shower facilities and new cafe area. Dog friendly especially liked the doggy wash which came in handy after our dog got friendly with a muddy bog whilst in Dalby Forest...! Lots of water points spread throughout the site which actors for touring caravans, motor homes and tents. Only thing we find is there could be more electric hook up facilities on the rally field. We look forward to staying again soon and would totally recommend it to others.

Good play park for children plus a large field for ball games. The dog walk is great. The site shop is well stocked and new this year a lovely cafe, serving drinks and cakes with hot meals being offered later in the year. There is a lovely easy walk into the village 20-30 minutes approx. There is a public house just on the edge of the village on the main road to Pickering. Bus stop also located here with hourly buses to Pickering and Scarborough. The staff are friendly. What more could you want? The perfect site.
