Only stayed 2 nights but will definitely be back. Good size pitch our van is 8mtrs long so can be awkward on some sites. Showers and toilets lovely and clean & plenty of room in them & lashings of hot water. Quiet, peaceful & relaxing. Not to far from local attractions. All in all a lovely site.

Excellent location, we had time to spend in Malton & have a good look around. We visited Scampston, which we enjoyed.We were able to have Malton as a base & meet up with friends.The facilities at the site were very good. Shower block clean & well layed out.

My first time staying in a shepherds hut. Such fun. You’re never too old to experience a shepherds hut stay. I will be back.😁

We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay, lovely clean campsite, not overcrowded, good size pitches.Clean shower/toilet block, hot water and great size shower cubicles.Although we didn’t need to use it the camp kitchen is a great idea, washing up facility and a fridge.Fresh eggs available on site.Great location for Castle Howard etc.Lovely views from campsite.Easy self check in.Would highly recommend

Lovely site, great facilities, shower and bathrooms always immaculate. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area, helpful information available and welcoming on arrival.

It’s a great spot for day trips and the wash up/shower/loo facilities were just as needed. Ruth was there if ever needed and was very kind to lend us a power lead when ours stopped working. Our kids (10 and 12) had daily fun on the small park apparatus and joined in play with the other kids there too. We love that it is small. We definitely recommend the site. The only thing that I’d recommend is not to allow bookings of bigger groups, with young adults. A group were there our last few days and the young men were swearing loudly, playing rugby and cricket in a small space, had music playing throughout the evening and left beer bottles in the play area. They were perfectly nice but it did make our last few days a lot less relaxing.

We had a lovely little stay and the cosiest nights sleep! The hut had everything you could need and more and the toilet/kitchen facilities were outstanding! Thank you we will be returning and recommending to others

Lovely quiet site, plenty of room around pitch and good facilities.

The site is lovely, very peaceful and quiet with excellent facilities and perfect for families as it’s so safe with lots of children’s play. Ruth is literally the best site owner I’ve come across in years of camping. When I became ill late at night she arrived at my camper with a cushion and a rug then took me to A and E after 11pm. The flowers from her flower field are beautiful and survived the heatwave. The location of the site is ideal as there are so many places to visit nearby, with opportunities for all ages and interests.

What a gorgeous site! Perfect location for Malton, just a 40 minute walk. Facilities are spotless, its friendly and so peaceful.Really thoughtful attention to detail: fully fitted kitchen for campers, hot showers, lots of bins and recycle, well lit at night, even a point to empty the grey water from our motorhome.This is going to be a regular spot for us, we loved it 💕
