Lovely site and facilities owners very welcome great location walk along the river to old malton where we had a meal at the Royal Oak definitely recommend also carry on along the river to malton which we did the next day we had a hard standing pitch no electricity really liked that we had a choice of electric or not drive over gray waste for a motorhome was great will definitely be returning .

Perfect location for access to Pickering and Eden Camp and beyond. Excellent facilities - especially the heated toilet/shower blocks. Well thought out and great attention to the little details - flowers and hand soap in the toilet blocks. Hairdryer facility and well designed showers. Really lovely, pretty place to stay. Would definitely recommend.

Really well thought out campsite with excellent facilities.The toilets and showers are kept clean and the shower rooms are large which i always like. Great fully equipped kitchen area ,which also has the farm hens eggs for sale.Walk into old Malton which has two bars and little further Malton has various shops and bars/cafes. Able to walk around farm fields down to the river which is great for dog owners. Would we visit this site again definitely.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. It was absolutely fantastic, with great views, also peaceful and quiet. The facilities were spotless.It’s short drive to pubs and restaurants. There is some nice country walks nearby. I would definitely stay here again without a doubt, I highly recommend this place. 👍👍

Toilets and showers lovely and warm and clean all very high standard. Also lovely and warm well equipped kitchen you can use Inc freezer for icepacks. Old malton and malton an easy walk away either by the river or road. Lady owner was very pleasant and helpful can't remember name! Eden camp very close and well worth a day out.

Booked a 4 night stay in September 2025, and we were very happy with the campsite.The owner was friendly and helpful, the pitches were large and the bathrooms were modern and clean.The campsite is a short walk into Old Malton which has a choice of pubs ... my only criticism was the grim weather - which of course, the campsite had no control over. Would like to return to explore the area more.

We choose this site for its nearness to Malton although we found the walk to the bus stop rather long ( about 20 minutes ) and ended up catching a taxi back ( £10.50 ) which I would do in future. The hardstandings for the pitches are rather narrow and there are only a few water taps and some pitches only have 10 amp electricity which in our experience can cause cut-outs. However, the good points outweigh the reservations. The toilet/shower block is excellent for a small site such as this one and a good kitchen with washing up facility. There is also an excellent dog walk from the site around the adjacent fields, all fenced off from the fields and therefore dogs can be safely let off leads. I understand it is possible to walk to Malton town centre across fields from the site down to the River Derwent and then along the river but we did not attempt it. Overall, a pleasant small site well maintained and worth a visit.

Very cosy and comfortable shepherd's hut. Good half-way level between small tent camping and a caravan or campervan. Good sanitary block as well. Lovely grounds made for a peaceful stay.
