Our timber built, tin clad hut is fitted with a scissor bed and includes a duvet, pillows and bedding.
It is fully insulated and has a wood burning stove for heating and boiling a kettle, which is supplied along with crockery.
It is an off grid alternative using solar power to supply lighting and a phone charger point.
Guests can use the campers' kitchen with its microwave and fridge, and also the showers and toilets in the washrooms near the hut.
In high season, a fire pit is included in the Hut's outside area.

This was our first time visiting, and we'll be back. The facilties were excellent. The toilet block was modern, clean, and warm (especially as we were there in November). The kitchen facilities were second to none. Everything you could possibly think of and need was there. Inivative ideas with activities to amuse the kids in the kitchen . Great set up for couples and families alike. Pitches were spacious. Lovely, neat, and tidy site. Highly recommended. Well worth staying over.
Lovely small site, within easy walking distance of Eden Camp. The grandchildren loved checking to see if there were any farm eggs for sale. The toilet/shower block was spotless and the communal kitchen area was a lovely touch. Really enjoyed our stay.
Would recommend
Very clean and well kept. Despite its rural location it is easy to get to from all directions. Walking distance from Eden Camp passing the bus stop for Pickering and Whitby. And, of course the NYMR. Close to the lovely town of Malton. Flamingoland just a short drive away. Hard standing pitches and spotless toilets and amenities . Very reasonable pricing too. The shepherd's hut and cabin look fun for anyone without a motorhome or caravan. A delightful little site that I'll definitely be returning to.
We chose wyse house farm after touring north Yorkshire it was ideal for a vist to Malton and the Eden camp museum both easy walking distance from the site .What a surprise it was the facilities where brilliant just like going into somebody's personal bathroom. The campsite wash up /kitchen where super clean and well equipped. We will certainly go again when in the area and recommend it .
Ideally situated just off the A64 close to Malton. Gated entrance and a warm welcome from Ruth who showed us to our pitch & a tour of facilities that were lovely with hot showers & brilliant washing up & kitchen area,we were here to attend the Eden camp 40’s weekend which was a short car drive away, Pickering is not far away and the coast is around a 45min drive Flamingo land is close by & York is a half hour drive, we would definitely stay again when in the area.
Excellent campsite showers and toilets are spotless, Kitchen is amazing everything you need., There is a lovely dog walk and the site is very quiet at night . Staff are lovely. Eden camp is just over a mile up the road and Malton a little bit further with some lovely restaurants and coffee shops.
I have already done a review but I’m more than happy to do another we had a really nice stay at wyse house farm we stayed 11th and 12th of October 2024 it’s a really pretty well kept site. And the grounds are lovely. It’s tranquil. There is a shared kitchen you can use to cook .and wash up although our cabin had an under cover cooking area and also a seating area with an outside barbecue.the toilets and showers were spotless and very nice . The lady who owns the place was very pleasant.overall stay positive 5* and also people who bring children are well catered for . We will go back also it’s really close to the Eden camp museum which we have been to a couple of times this year they did a 1940s day it was lovely to see people all dressed up .
My husband and I stayed at the site as we were attending the 1940s weekend at Eden Camp which is about half a mile away. In between booking and the event unfortunately I had back issues that caused me to be in a mobility scooter, I contacted the site to see if the road would be suitable and Ruth advised that it was however they could also offer me a lift if required, which is above and beyond. The facilities are excellent, with a disabled toilet/shower room that is fully accessible with a scooter. They also have a campers kitchen with every facility you can think of. There also umbrellas to be borrowed, and a puncture repair kit. There is a tie up for dogs outside the toilet block with a water bowl and mat. All the small details and the attention to detail is amazing. A fantastic site and a credit to the owners.I can't wait to go back and hopefully be in a position to enjoy walking and exploring the area.
