We were very impressed with the friendliness & helpfulness of the staff (including the cat!).All areas are kept spotless, including toilets/showers, well-appointed kitchen & playground - none of which is easy in the January frost & cold.We have visited Malton before, and really liked the independent shops & cafes, especially La Patisserie. Our evening meal at the Royal Oak in Old Malton was very enjoyable, especially considering how full the establishment was (Saturday evening). Once again, both staff & clientele were very friendly & helpful.

Sight good, family friendly.Need better signage or units signage for rubbish disposal. I struggled with splitting various parts of disposals.Glamping needs a good private stove and gas, (for winter staying at least) , as shared sight kitchen, although well stocked was not suitable for a single retreat.The outside lights need some attention. That said, I only stayed 3 nights, and the lack of expectation, on both sides, could of made for a better experience.Hope this helps.

Small site with excellent facilities.

One of the best sites we have ever visited, both in terms of facilities, and of friendliness and helpfulness. It was the coldest week of the year, and our caravan waterpump froze, so we were given full run of the facilities in a way which goes beyond normal use. Drying our frozen awning was also made possible by the kindness of the staff. The restrooms are beautifully warm, modern, spacious and easily usable, the disposal points and recycling easy of access, the lookout a gentle but beautiful one over the valley of the Derwent. Very accessible to Malton and Pickering, and even to York (30 minutes) for two concerts, and there are plenty of good eateries not too far away.

This is a very friendly family site with excellent facilities, well placed within the countryside. It is located nicely between a variety of tourist locations from Scarborough, Pickering, Helmsley and a short drive to York,Excellent

We love this site. We have stayed 3 times now as a family and with friends. The site is immaculate, facilities spot on and the owner and her family are always pleasant, helpful and happy to help. It honestly is one of my favourite sites to stay. It is family friendly and the plots are spacious. Location wise about 25 minutes to Scarborough and not far fromPickering village. Last stayed this year autumn half term week. We will be booking up again soon. Thank you Ruth and family x
