Staff were very friendly and helpful. Site was lovely ans shady in the hot weather especially for our dogs. Surrounding area plenty of walks although couldn't do some of the public footpaths as our dogs couldn't get through the stiles and there was no other access point. Beautiful walks to the little hamlets on quiet country roads. Facilities were always spotless and clean. The washing up area was very well equipped best we have been too.Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Lovely shady site, which with the hot weather this summer was cool and welcome! We were greeted by Ruth on arrival, and shown to our pitch by Dave, who told us all we needed to know about pitching up and site facilities. The pitches are generous and well spaced. The washrooms were immaculate at all times, probably the best we've encountered - fresh flowers and hand lotion too! The site is well situated for all the Peak District has to offer. Ashbourne is 5 minutes away, with Carsington Water, Dovedale, Ilam and Buxton within easy reach. Too much to do in our short stay! There is some road noise from the A515 which is nearby, but not an issue.A gem of a site!!

We really enjoyed our short break here. The owners Ruth and Dave were so welcoming and helpful.What we really liked about the site was the attention to detail and thoughtful presentation of the pot wash area and bathrooms and the inclusive features of the dog walking paddock. The situation of the site was very convenient for visiting Ashbourne and it was tranquil and shady which was welcome this summer. Thank you for a great stay and we will revisit your lovely site.

We had a really lovely break staying for 3 nights at this forest location. Prior to our visit I'd asked if we could have two pitches close together, this was honoured and we had two spacious, level, pitches next to each other.The owners were very kind, friendly and welcoming. They helped to mice a new picnic bench so that it was between our two motorhomes. We liked everything about our stay, the facilities were immaculately clean. The ladies shower room had a vase of beautiful fresh flowers, box of tissues, hand cream and sanitary products ( just incase you got caught out!) The showers were spacious with hot water, enough hooks , shelf and even a plastic basket for small belongings (jewellery perhaps ?) It was like home from home.The dish washing area was also spotlessly clean and just as thoughtfully kitted out....washing up liquid, clean cloths to wipe surfaces and even a box of old sponges to scrub BBQ's!

Fantastic, family run, adult only campsite. Very friendly staff, that go above and beyond to make your stay that extra special. All facilities were clean and maitained. Bonus it has a dog enclosure onsite. Beautiful walks, nearest pub is 5mins in car or a hour walk. Reasonably priced campsite, dont let the pay as you go elecric put u off. We will be booking again.

We had a truly delightful experience at Woodlands Adult Only Caravan Park. The site was exceptionally clean and well looked after, making it a lovely, peaceful place to stay.Ruth and Dave were absolutely lovely — so welcoming, friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The dog park was also fantastic and a real bonus for our four-legged friend.All in all, we had a wonderful stay and couldn’t fault it. We would definitely recommend Woodlands and hope to return again in the future. A lovely place with lovely hosts! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Booked at second visit at the last minute and requested a specific spot to pitch, knowing the site was likely to be busy and not expecting it to be possible. The lovely site owners saved us the perfect spot!Really can't fault anything here, they've thought of everything from sanitary products in the ladies loo to brushes to clean your barbecue. And all the facilities are absolutely spotless at all times. We were made really welcome and had a great time and we met some lovely campers too. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful woodland site with the cleanest facilities you will ever find. Staff are friendly and helpfulOne criticism of our pitch and the nearby water tap is that the brambles could do with being cut back. Apart from that it was perfect.
