A lovely site with excellent facilities, good communication with staff in advance and easy access. We needed a break and enjoyed walking around the RSPB sites and doing some bird watching and the site was convenient for this. The local pub was a short walk away and we enjoyed a pint there and there was a nice atmosphere.

We've been staying at Willowbank for many years when visiting family in Liverpool.The facilities are great and the location is perfect for visiting Merseyside.One minor negative we have is that following recent refurbishment, the main amenities block now has less showers and toilets in both male and female areas.Also the heating seems to have been removed where previously there were hot air heaters now there seems to be nothing.The facilities look amazing but I'm not sure they have been well thought out especially in terms of availability in busy periods.

Stayed at the Willowbank in our MH first time out. So impressed. Easy to find and pitch up. Excellent facilities. Bathrooms better than most hotels we have stays in and a nice little snack van offering warm food and drinks. Nice walking area for the doggie. A five minute walk to a lovely pub . Sparrowhawk. Serving amazing food. Don’t forget your torch though as quite dark getting out of the site.Will definitely return

Clean, great amenities, value for money! We were happy there

I’ll keep this review simple The staff on the site are super friendly helpful and go beyond wha any one would expect to make your stay perfect The site is clean well maintained and allways presented in perfect condition ( cos the staff are allways working hard ) The pitches are perfect side and again perfectly maintained The showers . Well all I can say is Iv been to to 5 star hotels with less luxury . They are amazing and mega clean The site is not over priced and set in the perfect location for travel to Southport or liverpool So go book it and enjoy ( cos you will )

We stayed at this lovely caravan park in November for a week. It’s ideally situated with a 20 minute walk to Ainsdale station with trains into Liverpool and Southport. The park is well laid out with plenty of space between plots. The shower block is excellent, so modern and clean. Overall I would definitely stay again.

Well situated, clean and tidy, even in the winter when it’s hard to make any grounds look good. It was well maintained. The showers/toilets are amazing ! I think I would go as far as saying they are the best we have come across in all our travels, and we have travelled some huge distance.Showers and toilets modern and clean. A pleasure to use I almost wanted to take my shoes off at the door so they didn’t get trampled with the wet outside.Will definitely be returning.

Great site. Perfect location and outstanding facilities

I first came a regular visitor to this site over 20 years ago and after a many years away returned last year. It didn’t disappoint, the park is still the lovely site I remembered. The site has been revamped and extended but it hasn’t lost its friendly, homely atmosphere. Caravan park is always well kept and clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Newly refurbished toilet/shower block are really nice. It’s an excellent base to explore the area, just a short drive into Southport. Martin Mere and Blackpool not too far away either.

the site is easy to get to on good roads, well maintained, toilet blocks are very clean and nice and warm. Beaches, shops, and Southport within easy reach.
