Very quiet and relaxing extremely clean and well kept grounds

Stayed here after getting tourer to try , nice site to try , extremely helpful, clean , well kept site , facilities clean and well kept grounds , peaceful and close to southport and beach .

We were so impressed with this campsite from the moment we arrived! The staff were warm, friendly and helpful in reception. Our pitch was spacious and tidy and the toilets and showers were of a high standard. The highlight for us was the special large screen, bar and food area that had been arranged for a fortnight of sport. We were staying at the site for the Open golf championship at Royal Birkdale. It was great to be able to continue enjoying the golf back at the campsite on the big screen with other campers. The evening pizzas were delicious and the food truck specials and breakfasts were also fantastic. We would definitely stay there again if back in that area…it was a gem of a campsite!!

Looks very nice as you enter the park, but sadly that is where it finishes.New shower block looks nice, but the whole floor was wet inside and out side of shower, there are no mops or anything to clean up. The washbasin counter top was absolutely sopping wet with no dry space to put anything down. The actual toilet cubicles have got ample room for a washbasin in them.For such a large site there should be more fresh water taps around the site we only saw one and only one grey water and toilet emptying area.The washing up area on the hardstanding field is really looking quite shabby, with coverings peeled off and hardboard showing.Sadly for the amount they charge I was very disappointed.On a good note the food outlet was fabulous.Sorry we won't be returning.

What a lovely site, the facilities 10/10 very clean bathroom & showers, great area to wash pots, also a washing & drying machine available if required.Staff very helpful and so polite.Great little pizza and coffee van on site.Close to local amenities Would highly recommend 👌 5*

Love willowbank Staff are so nice and friendly it’s not far from Ainsdale Beach and Southport lovely place .

Location for us was perfect. We have family in Aindale. Fove pounds into the village for an uber. Connecting with trains to Southport or the city. Although the bus stops right outside the campsite the train suited us better. Showers were amazing. Always clean..

This a great site in a fantastic location. The facilities are very clean and the site well managed. The pitch sizes are generous the electric hookups well positioned and clearly sign posted by pitch. The main problem is ants!! My daughter's caravan became infested in just one night!Now this doesn't appear to be an issue on the gravel hard stands but on the grass hard stands it's full of them so beware, probably caused by the long dry spell we've just had, but still it needs addressing by the management team.

The site was really clean and had a great location for Ainsdale beach and FormbyThere was an excellent food takeaway Spotless showers and good facilitiesThe only feedback 2 showers in the main block for men is a little on the low side although I accept there are more in the other part of the site

Great location great town great campsite and all within walking distance.
