Lovely & clean nice pitches well looked after

Very friendly staff. Exceptionally clean facilities. Good restaurants within walking distance.

We were recommended by friends as we do not usually use private sites as we have membership with a club , we have always been disappointed with private sites but were pleasantly suprised with Donkey Creek . The site was tidy clean ( could do with more hooks in bathrooms). We had to do diy check in which worked well, although on the only occasion we used reception found them not overly friendly but did sort our problem. Cycle paths , walking paths are all excellent getting you to neighbouring towns & villages , pubs are good in Freckleton too , plus you have the added jet displays from the nearby airport . On the whole well done Donkey Creek !

Stayed for three nights because it was well located for as being a 15 minute walk to the Bus stop which ran us into Lytham for the Festival.Only Fully serviced pitches were available when we booked which we didn't really require but had to suffer the cost. Decent facilities, friendly Staff but considered it a bit pricey like most things these days.

We always get a lovely welcome from the staff. Excellent facilities. It would be nice to have a better hairdryer plus some coat hooks in the main area of the ladies toilets.

Very clean and well kept site and easy to get to when you come off the M55.Great sized pitches, I wouldn’t advise plastic pegs as the ground is very hard, steel pegs much better, they sell them in the site shop.Love the sound of the fighter jets just across the road, if it’s not your thing they are few and far between.The Ship Inn is great for a meal or drink, food excellent.No need to walk away down the road 3/4 mile to Ship Inn, as you leave the site there is a public footpath 100yds down the road on the right which will reduce the walk to about 1/4 mile.Could do with bigger recycling bins as the small ones that they have were full during our stay, other than that we’ll be back.

We have visited before and as always the site is clean and tidy. A warm welcome from staff at check in and we're very accommodating when we asked for a bigger pitch. Amenities are spotless. We love this site because it is easily reached from home and a lovely area. Always recommend a visit to the Ship inn.

My wife and I stayed 6 days for the Lytham festival we are both in our 70s easy access to the village for restaurants and bus number 68 to Lytham will book for next year

A beautiful, quite, clean and well equipped campsite, just a short drive or taxi ride away from Lytham. The staff were happy, friendly, chatty and very helpful. We would definitely stay again in the future. We enjoyed it so much we paid the extra fiver for a late check out just to get the most of our break away from home.
