What a beautiful caravan site with very spacious fully serviced excellently priced pitches. The surrounding views are beautiful with stunning sunsets and a lovely dedicated dog walk where you can meet the alpacas and lots of wildlife. The toilet and shower facilities are excellent. The owners Karen and Dave can't do enough for you. We had a problem with a leak in our caravan and the owners Son Josh ( a qualified caravan engineer) fixed it for us at a very reasonable price. We have booked to return next year and Josh is going to service our van during our stay. The only minor criticism for us is the signage would be better if it was lit up, as the approach to the site is on a very narrow dark lane and difficult to see in the dark until you are really close. The site is only 1.6 miles from Pickering which has some lovely cafes/ shops/ restaurants and pubs. The lovely village of Thornton le Dale is a short drive away.Looking forward to our next stay, which will be 1 of many

Accessed from a mile long very poorly maintained single track lane, but once on site the campsite is excellent. Very efficient and effective reception process. The facilities are all first class, however for us there were a few too many instructive notices, that we didn’t think were completely necessary - maybe they are for some customers.Electricity is metered and so you pay for what you use, a charge of £4 per day was added to the site fee and credits put on the plot meter. I guess at some point we will be advised if we owe any more, or are due a refund.Overall a very pleasant stay, we would have no hesitation in returning or recommending to friends.

MY WIFE AND I HAD A VERY ENJOYABLE STAY WITH LOVELY VIEWS, WELL KEPT GROUNDS AND FACILLITIES.

Our fourth consecutive stay now and just about to book our fifth. This is by far the best park we have stayed on. The site is lovely, the facilities fantastic and Karen and Dave always make you feel welcome.

Very well kept clean site, excellent facilities, fully serviced pitches and good value for money.

Very friendly campsite owners.This is a quiet adult only site accessed down a dead straight country lane.This is a secure site with number plate recognition barriers to access the site.Pitches are large with hedges between each pitch.Serviced pitches have water and include a picnic table.Electricity is charged via a smart card. For those with dogs there is a large field with river walk.On site are chickens with eggs available to purchase.There are also Alpacas and a horse.The site also has a caravan and motorhome service and repair facility.Small facility block is very clean and tidy with hot showers costing a £1.Within walking distance of Pickering with its shops, castle and steam railway.Plenty of places to visit around the area to visit including Scarborough and Whitby.
