Upon arrival we were greeted with such a warm welcome. Great sized pitches….. offering 5* facilities. The site was immaculate, toilets, showers, pot wash etc. Loved how nature and the environment played a bit part of this peaceful site … great dog walk. About a 30 minute walk into Pickering. Would recommend a pint or 2 at the Sun inn. Wished we could have stayed longer but have booked to return.

We’ve had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at Westgate Carr farm, Dave & Karen are friendly and welcoming and you can really see how much they care about the site and about the people staying there.The site itself is beautiful, very peaceful and kept to an incredible high standard.Everything is spotlessly clean and well looked after, the toilets are immaculate, easily some of the cleanest I have seen.They have some animals on site which really adds character and charm to the place with a great area to walk the dogs around too, the pitches are a great size and you have the added bonus of a picnic bench. Pickering itself is a lovely place to visit and a 30 minute walk would get you into Pickering town from site. We’ve generally loved our time here, A big thank you to Dave & Karen for making it a great stay, can’t wait to be back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful tranquil friendly touring site

Lovely clean site which is well maintained and well thought out. The pitches are a good size allowing space between neighbours. A good dog trail for our furry friends and picnic benches scattered around for sitting and watching the wild life/ chickens. The site is down a long stretch of country road taking you away from the town. The road is not lite so once dark it’s not really walkable into the town. This would be different in the summer months.

Very well maintained site with good sized pitches. Excellent facilities with one shower and 2 toilets in separate male/female blocks along with an accessible one too. Coin operated shower (£1) with a generous 6 minutes. Card loaded with £10 for hookup electricity with refund for any unused. Excellent value for money for the quality of the site. Eco products available at reduced costs compared to main retailers along with fresh eggs from their roaming chickens competitively priced too. Highly recommended.

Excellent set up with easy acces and good sized pitches. Can't fault anything, from booking to departure. Approachable and helpful, with lots of local information coupled with a beautifully tranquil location. Thank you, we will be back.

Dave and Karen offer an amazingcsite to stay. The site is so relaxing and the surroundings are fantastic. The site is spotless and shows how much attention to detail the owns have put in to make this place fantastic. We will be returning as soon as possible as we really enjoy the feeling of piece and quiet. The lack of light pollution around the site at night is a joy. Those nights with no cloud cover offers star gazing and the walk around the field to the river is so nice. Don't really wish to go on about how good Westgate Carr Farm is. It will become difficult to book in next time. Definitely a must to stay here.

This was my second visit here, and again it was amazing. The hosts were fantastic, only saw Dave this time but so helpful. Clean quiet and a perfect place for relaxation. On the doorstep to many walking places and plenty of places to visit. Great dog walking route around the fields meeting the Alpacas on route. Would highly recommend

Lovely, cosy cottage - better than we'd anticipated and hoped. Very comfortable and well appointed. Delightful surprise that the Christmas decorations remained. The welcome package was generous and well thought out. These surprises took our stay to another level! Great location for exploring the area. Easy access to lots of lovely places or stroll around the town. The steam engines passing by across the road were utterly delightful. (You might want to think about a thick door curtain for the front door in winter time - negative temperatures at night meant there was quite a bit of a draft and you must be losing heat there.)We have to come back in the summer to complete our exploration of the railway - would have no hesitation in booking another stay in Trackside Holiday Cottage

After a deceptively long drive of about a mile you get to Westgate Carr Farm. The reception is great, lovely people and a perfectly kept site welcome you on arrival. Spacious, level pitches make setting up easy and the facilities on site are always clean. Adults only means a peaceful stay at any time of the year. It serves as a perfect base for visiting the surrounding areas with walks and views in abundance.
