As usual excellent stay and we have already rebooked our next stay in December. The apples were delicious and placed by the information shed to collect😋.

We visit Pickering quite regularly. Finding Westgate Carr Farm to stay at has been such a bonus. The site is situated down a quiet lane and is so peaceful.Excellent facilities that are always spotless. The views are wonderful and there’s a friendly calm atmosphere.The prices are very fair, particularly given the quality of the surroundings. Level and well tended pitches look out onto grass, hedgerows, trees and a beautiful view. Electric is metered which we also find a bonus. The dog walk is lovely and well tended. It’s a good walk into Pickering - about 35-40 minutes, or a short drive. Well worth the effort. If you’re looking to explore the area Westgate Carr Farm is great for that too. Can’t really see anything that needs changing. It’s brilliant just as it is.

First impressions - beautifully maintained site. Owners helpful and relaxed. Lovely area for walking the dog. Great views - gorgeous alpacas!! Nothing ‘not to like’. Will definitely return.

Grass & grounds kept immaculate and great hard standing fully service pitches. No noise or light pollution. Great dog walk from site with grass paths also kept mowed (photos of dog walk attached) if you love peace and quiet and a friendly welcome this is the site for you

Beautifully maintained, friendly site. Spotless facilities. Peaceful and relaxing. Excellent dog walk to a beautiful chalk stream. Great value for money. Location superb. Close to the amenities of Pickering and the best ice cream shop ever!

As usual, the site is perfectly clean and tidy within everthing in order. Great reception and there is always help available if needed.

Not often you can say this, but could not fault it at all.

My friends and I came down for the 1940s weekend and found this lovely cottage on booking.com. It was ideal for 5 people and was very central for everything going on. There was no need to use the car all weekend. Also the car was very safe in the railway car park. House was very equipt to host 5 adults. The only small comment (wouldn't even be issue) is we all preferred to sit upstairs near the kitchen and found we had to move to footstool from downstairs so all 5 of us could sit together. Perhaps another sofa upstairs would help (although I know tight for space). Would definitely recommend and will be booking again. Thanks for your kind gifts you left too. The cake was delicious :-)

Excellent site, excellent staff, a peaceful haven in which to unwind. Lots of places to visit, new things to do and see each time you visit within a few miles. Local eating places and shops are good. Open skies, lovely countryside and the sea and beach within driving distance. What more do you want /need from a holiday? Oh and the weather was good too!!
