The price and the pitch was okay, but the showers and toiletts were very dirty....I would never use them

We stayed Easter Weekend and the site owners put on an Easter Egg hunt for the children which the kids loved. Toilets/showers are cleaned regularly and there is space to wash dishes and dry clothes.There are 2 parks for the kids, which the kids really enjoyed. Great site for families.

A lovely site in a great location with friendly owners. But they go to bed at 9pm and don't patrol the riverside field. I was kept awake all night by drunks. If you stay in that field, make sure you make a note of the mobile number and call it if required.

Was a little unsure reading reviews of the track down to riverside but although a little scary my van handled it nicely ! Stunning location and loads of space ! The stars were abundant as away from pollution, such good value for money !! Big shoutout to the farmer that helped jump start my van after everyone else failed!

Stayed with a group of friends for a campaign event, the surroundings were beautiful by the riverside. Went up to the main farm site for a lovely hot powerful shower. Facilities all clean and working great. Friendly help on arrival, brilliant look forward to returning next year. Lovely walks for the dog all around the site.

Lovely campsite in beautiful setting. More local information would be helpful ( walks, pubs, buses etc) as we were looking for a route to walk the dog. The showers were amongst the best we’ve ever experienced camping and if a mop and bucket (or squeegee) was provided for us to clean up behind ourselves it would be perfection. Loved it.

Nice flat site, toilets and showers were clean and very warm, and arrival smooth, if pretty hands off. You have to text them to notify of arrival, having previously chosen pitch when booking.We were in field 3 which was quiet but involved walking through a working farmyard to get to facilities (lorries.trailers, lots of pallets and vehicles of various sorts moving around early in the day)Rubbish area was untidy and difficult to work out where to put recycling, just had to pile it wherever there was space. Friendly cows and lots of cute but very feral kittens around. Not as manicured as you might expect from the price but for Bala it's reasonable. So overall great location and for us a good find, but we don't need frills!
