Lovely place well maintained and staff was great. No issues at all so no cons. Having access to the water without having to drive is great for paddle boarding with a pump at the water to assist is a great thing.

Beautiful place , spotlessly clean facilities. Quiet family atmosphere. Perfect for the lake access. Each year we have been there are improvements. This year I noticed the flower displays, tree lights , and newly refurbished toilet cubicles.

Stayed at the site for two nights meeting up with family to chill enjoy the weather and get on the lake.Was just a stunning place to stay everyone was really friendly

Arrived on Tuesday and until Friday evening was ideal then the hoards arrived packed in tightly took the shine off a wonderful calm week recharging mentally and physically. I will come back but Monday to Friday

I had a lovely weekend at the site with my two children and friends. Relaxed setting, clean and tidy. Easy access to Bala lake.

Stayed here for the first time , very good campsite we were very close to the lake which was great for our daughter who paddleboards, you have to have a pass which is £5 per day or £20 for the week but this helps towards upkeep of the surrounding area . The facilities were always clean and a bonus was that they were always open as they could lock off one half for cleaning then do the other side, the staff were very helpful and always pleasant and the shop was good for basic necessities , as it was hot when we were there being able to get ice cream in the shop was a bonus.There is a bus stop outside the campsite and a timetable for this is shown in the shop window, we used it a few times to to Bala and it was always on time, in Bala there is a nice mixture of shops and a lovely antique shop in the old church , there is also a railway which goes around the lake.

.Lovely camp site monday to friday. Lovely and quiet. Busy at weekends so would mid week stay if went again.Showers and toilets plentyfull but felt that they could have been cleaned more frequently, especially when campsite busy.Great location. Great for kyaking, paddleboard and fishing.We will return hopefully.

Ok but we would not return as this is not our kind of campsite. The site was packed with very little space between everyone. Children were playing ball games by the van and it was very noisy untill late. Probably a very nice campsite for families but not for us.

First impression was good but where I was told to pitch tent next to hedge and river was unbearable because of gnats. I got eaten alive morning and night , had to eat out and just come back to sleep. Also way too many barking dogs but site facilities are great and very clean
