Lovely Chilled camp. Great food at the Bistro.Love it there.

My 8 year old son and I loved every minute. The sight was peaceful and the pod was lovely and cosy. My only criticism is that the hot water is so hot that my son couldn’t have a shower whilst we were away as you can’t control the water temperature, although it was a perfect temp for me. This was our fourth time staying in a pod and we’ll definitely return.

We had a fantastic stay for bank holiday weekend, fantastic location and great facilities, we had Sunday lunch and breakfast the next day at the onsite bistro which we would definitely recommend. We didn’t have a reservation but we were found a table and had fantastic service and the Sunday lunch was out of this world.Although we advise booking to make sure you get a reservation.Toilet and shower blocks were all you needed for a weekend away.Staff were very helpful and friendly.Definitely recommend and stay again.

We stayed over May bank holiday in our motorhome and had a fantastic time, brilliant location with so many beautiful walks, big thanks to the reception team for being so lovely, can’t wait to go back.

We had a last minute booking for a sport tour. Not our usual place to stay but it was quite delightful. We stayed in the deluxe pod which was a squeeze for 4 but would be perfect for two. Very glad that we had our own toilet and shower block as I saw the showers flooded/no toilet paper in the shared unit. The restaurant, staff and food were super with the added bonus of the milkshake vending machine. 5 mins drive into town ans lots to see and do in the area.

Lovely setting but...toilet facilities were not the best. Disabled toilet door wouldn't lock and the cleanliness of the lower toilet block was not good. 2 of the toilets were really bad....I suppose you have to blame the people using them leaving them in such a state..but they were like this for a while and not cleanedCannot fault the location as Llangollen is picturesque and it's only a 10 minute drive awayWe did have a lovely pitch near the river and you can walk along side it which is lovelyWe went over the bank holiday so was busy. The bistro and bar is on site and very niceTV and phone signal was also virtually non existent due to the location but that didn't bother us too muchOverall a lovely setting..just the cleanliness of the facilities that let it down for us

Site is lovely only let down by female showers which were cold at 9 am and the dishwashing facilities which were outside and also cold.

This is our 4th visit to Abbey Farm and we have booked to go back again.The staff are friendly and the facilities are great. We had Sunday lunch in the bistro and it was well worth the money.We had an electric pitch for the first time and it was a good size. We have a big tent and it fitted ok. The electric pitches get booked really quickly so book early if you want one. The site is quiet but not too quiet and wardens patrol at night to make sure all's well so there are no parties going on right through the night unlike other sites It's just over one mile to Llangollen village and there is a path you can follow through the farm and down to the and along the canal if you fancy a walk. It took us just over 30 minutes to get there with 2 kids and a dog who has to sniff at every post he comes to 😁. When you get there, there are some nice cafes shops and riverside pubs to while away your day and if you fancy there is also the steam railway to take a trip on.

Would highly recommend staff hands on site is well looked after nothing to much trouble shower block is kept very clean .10 minutes to town centre. My husband took his mobility scooter to get around the site it was so easy to manage Would also recommend the pods looking forward to our 8th stay
