Brilliant place near Bala on a working farm with basic but more than adequate facilities. Owners were very attentive checking in with us before and after storm - all good!!. Bonus: Fresh milk to buy on site if you bring your own bottle/jug.

All in all a very great Easter weekend, lovely helpful couple, considering previous reviews regarding the showers and the very reasonable cost to stay here I found the showers more than adequateWould highly reccomend 😊

We stay at ty isaf a few times a year it’s a lovely place to relax!Great for the kids to play on the park and see the animals A short taxi journey into Bala town to enjoy the shops/pubsSee you again soon!

We have been visiting this campsite for years Chris and her team are extremely friendly and helpful. As a working farm there is plenty to explore, you can watch the cows being milked, see the goats and they have wild camping over the road, there’s a stream which is a nice walk. Facilities are good. There’s a park for the children. Short drive or taxi into Bala. We will continue to return.

Brilliant staff and site is spotless. So quiet and relaxing

Excellent value for money , friendly and welcoming owners and a great away from it all location close to the town of Bala , on a working farm .I stayed for a week mid October for a weeks fishing and will happily stay again .The showers were excellent .

I've challenged myself to climb all the Welsh mountains over 2,000ft. I only live 1 hr and 20 mins away from Ty Isaf, but by staying overnight it means I'm that much closer to the Berwyn mountains that were my target for this short break. The site was quiet (mid-week in Sep). The toilets are fine. I didn't use the shower, so I can't comment. I have other walks to do in the area, so I'm sure I will return.

The site was easy to get to and check into. The facilities were kept clean and worked really well. The fridge was also very useful with labels in the fridge to use in case people (like us) forgot. It was also a super beautiful location surrounded by mountains as well as the cows.

Spent a couple of nights here with the grandchildren. They loved the park area. Very relaxing with everything we needed. We will be back
