Basic big field but flat and lovely location. Near to canolfan Tryweryn white water centre.

We visited as part of a kayaking trip, the pitches were huge for our needs. Showers warm and the countryside beautiful. Bala was just a short drive away so it was great for our needs. The drying room was very welcome!

It's a lovely location, especially so when the sun shines! A good spacious site, with very helpful and friendly owners. It's a peaceful place, with a pub nearby for an evening meal. Recommended.

Quiet site, good value for money. Plenty of space. Have stayed here several times.

Lovely stay with friends Close to Bala lake for paddling

Big riverside field with a portaloo, a tap and recycling bins - nothing else, perfect peace! NB down a long track off the main road, so main campsite facilities a while away. Portaloo could have done with better maintenance/water tank filling. A second dubious portaloo appeared out of use but unclear! Take bug spray and feed the midges; loads of room, camp where you like by your car.

Good campsite. I especially liked that there was plenty of space between tent pitches.Showers and toilets were decent. It’s rare that campsite facilities are great, but these were decent and better than most campsites in my opinion. It’s also only a short drive to the lake which is handy.Whilst it felt a lively site (eg children playing sports/people out and about chatting), it didn’t feel rowdy. It wasn’t noisy at any time (neither morning nor night).

Stopped for one night while on a water rescue course at the whitewater centre near Bala. Very friendly welcome, good flat pitch with plenty of space.
