Tudor Caravan Park is a quiet country side park. The park is set in a picturesque location - a short walk away from the world famous Slimbridge Wetlands Centre, right alongside the Gloucester-Sharpness ship canal with the views of the Cotswold Hills in the background.
The park is ideally placed for excellent fishing and easy cycling along the canal towpath. Walkers can enjoy not only the canal but also the Severn Way which runs alongside the park or Cotswold Way 5 miles away. The park offer a variety of Hard Standing Pitches and Grass Pitches with and without electric hook-up.

This is all hard-standings with electric hook-ups suitable for caravans, motorhomes, camper-vans, and RVs. This area is quieter and more secluded as well as being close to the Orchard amenities block (Please Note: There are a few steps up into the building so it is not suitable for disabled access).
The Orchard is shielded by hedges and has a selection of both old & new apple and plum trees - many of which are local heritage varieties.

The Meadow has electric hook-ups on both hardstandings and grass pitches and is open all year round. Suitable for all types of tourers and camping in tents. We keep a large open area in the centre of the meadow so it feels spacious and there is plenty of room for children to play games.
The site has hedging around most of the perimeter with the Gloucester-Sharpness canal running along one side where you may be lucky enough to see a paddle-steamer or the occasional tall ship passing. The Meadow backs onto the canal and has lovely views over the fields towards the Cotswold Hills.
Our main toilet & shower block is centrally located here for easy access.
Pitch selection incurs a £5 additional charge.
Extra-large grass pitches with 16 amp electric hookup. The site is level and has lots of open space on well kept grass.

We booked an overnight stop when returning home from the Spain /Plymouth ferry and arrived at 19 00 We were able to get a meal in the adjacent pub and next morning carry on to our storage place it was extremely convenient enabling us to service the van before putting it back in storage We will soon return to enjoy the area for a few days
Long weekend well spent, well managed clean and tidy site including shower block.
Just booked one night to try out our new awning, fantastic site even let us change booked pitch to get out of the cold north wind !!.Great spot on the banks of the Gloucester canal next to a good pub and cafe
Great stay on this park .Large pitches and great location and amenities. Pub/ restaurant on the entrance so no need to drive. Plenty of walks from the park and pretty villages near by . The canal with long boats only a 5 minute walk with the Black Shed cafe/ restaurant also5 mins . Close to Gloucester for a day out . Would definitely stay again
This was our second visit to Tudor Caravan Park. The site is well organised, very tidy, the facilities are clean and well maintained. We enjoyed meals at the adjacent pub. An ideal location for visiting Slimbridge WWT. Walks along the canal are recommended as are strolls around the local lanes. There is a café just a short walk away or a couple of miles walk along the canal footpath. There is plenty of birdlife around which is great, but do not park your motorhome/caravan under the trees, after just two days the mess was unbelievable. Rooky mistake!
We have stayed a few times at Tudor Caravan Park. Its location is perfect for walking along the towpaths to some lovely little villages and some historical sites. WWT Slimbridge is a short walk away and has loads to offer for a full day out. The Tudor Arms pub is located just outside the site and is ok for pub grub and a pint. Gloucester docks is only a short drive away and well worth a visit as is Painswick Rococo gardens, Stroud. The site itself is well kept and the pitch sizes are excellent. Would highly recommend a visit.
This is our second visit to Tudor The site is very easy fo find being well signed off the A38 The surrounding area is lovely with the pub at the entrance and the cafe opposite .The site itself is very clean and when we were there very quiet We have stayed in the orchard both times and the pitches are large and mostly level my only niggles is there are not many water and waste points especially at the top end of the orchard also our friend who we went with is now a wheel chair user and she found the site difficult to navigate with the roads being rough gravelly and with ruts and holes But overall a site thats well worth a visit
Thank you for your review and feedback. We try to have as many water and grey waste points around the site as possible so that no one is more than about 8 pitches away from a point. The issue with the Orchard at the moment is that with the facilities being refurbished, that has temporarily removed the central water and waste point which does make it feel that they are a lot further away. This is only temporary though.I am sorry about the site road surface being rough but we have to adhere to a strict criteria with our surfaces to ensure that our surface water run off is controlled and steady. This means we can't put a hard road in, despite how much easier it would be for us and our customers. We hope you enjoyed your stay despite the above and that we can welcome you back sometime.Kind regards.
Lovely campsite, great for anyone boating, cycling or walking as the Gloucester to Sharpness canal borders the site. Toilet/shower block good but could possibly do with an update. Great pub at site entrance and several more within walking distance. Pitches are nice and roomy with hardstanding or grass available. Will be returning.
A very well run campsite , Immaculately clean toilets and showers . Close to Sharpness canal for good walks , very quiet and handy with the Tudor Inn offering good food at reasonable cost and very handy for the site. Chris
Our first time camping and friends recommended Tudor and it didn’t disappoint. Well kept grounds and spotless facilities. Ideal for walks with all you need a round it in walking distance. Might cost a little more than other sites but worth it. Will definitely be returning soon.
