Staff at the site are very helpful and friendly with an eye to providing a relaxed atmosphere 🫡
Immediately you notice how lovely the site is as soon as you turn in. Greeted by friendly and informative staff. A small site but plenty of space on the pitches. We only did a weekend and it did get busy but you really didn’t notice. A lovely half hour walk from the site to st briavels across the field’s. Lovely shop castle pub and church. My only negative was the toilet block did get busy but just don’t go first thing or last thing when site is full!
Lovely site, excellently located for Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Friendly staff, good clean facilities. Relaxed regime. Spot on.
Very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere & perfect for a family get together.Made good use of the play field. Well kept flat pitches & able to pitch our group together.Showers were lovely & warm & all facilities clean although the soap didn’t get topped up & the loo roll is in awkward dispensers which sometimes make it inaccessible.Good amount of washing up sinks, liked having a freezer for ice packs & bricks for bbq’s but that area needs either a bigger bin or regular emptying as it was overflowing all weekend.Coleford is a few miles away & has a good pub & chippy- everyone was so friendly! We had a wonderful weekend & will return to explore & make more use of the attractions nearby.
The site was very well kept with large private, flat pitches. Clean with excellent facilities for dogs and kids, great location for various activities in the area and friendly staff
Second stay here, small and perfect, friendly staff, washing machine and drying room, freezer, great toilets and showers. We will deffo come back
Nice relaxed camp site with good facilities, nice park and playing field for the children, good shower/toilet block and well kept surroundings.
Thank you to the lovely team at the campsite for accommodating us and our family last weekend enabling us to all camp together on adjacent pitches & making it easy to organise this. This was our 3rd visit to the site but the first time with family and they now all want to return too! As usual it didn’t disappoint with clean facilities and plenty of space for the children to play in the field. We will be back soon!
We stayed for a short weekend and would definitely come back, was a lovely site
Lovely little site. Immaculate. Great sized pitches, all level. Perfect location for visiting Forest of Dean, particularly enjoyed Puzzle Wood.
