A beautiful quiet location with plenty of pitch space for a campervan and tent and for our little one to crawl around. I am so glad we chose this for our first campervan break. The facilities were great and kept really clean throughout the day. Even had a bath in the disabled/family changing area so little one could enjoy a clean and splash. The lady onsite (sorry name escapes me) but was super friendly and helpful. Wish the weather had been a bit nicer but would highly recommend and hope we can visit again in the future.

Location great, picth great, sanitary block good (would be better to have common men/woman block), staff very helpful, very nice camping !

Need more info on local walks directly from campsite otherwise all good

This site is close to our home. We used it as a shakedown site for our newly acquired used motorhome. We arrived at the site, filled up with water, got to our pitch and noticed water on the floor. Turned out to be a leak in a pipe so we quickly emptied the tank and told reception we couldn’t stay. Reception said sorry, but please come back when the van is fixed. Went back last week and had a very nice stay on an excellent site and enjoyed the mended motorhome.v

We stayed 2 nights over weekend as last minute weather made us book. Beautiful kept campsite, lots of space per pitch! Leanne was very helpful with anything. WiFi wasn’t great but for me personally it was bliss, husband not busy on phone with work. Kids use it at night for I pad so it was dipping in and out but being where you are, it’s expected. The toilet/shower blocks were clean all the time, no que at any time for either of them. We did have children/babies crying for about 30/40 minutes both nights in middle of night, which isn’t great when they wake you all up but this isn’t nothing to do with site, it’s just down to who your camping by that weekend. But we will 💯 be booking again, it was a great stay

Great location for what we wanted, lovely site with good facilities and great for walks as you can go out directly from the site. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful too. Really enjoyed our trip and would definitely use the campsite again as well as happily recommend to others.

Perfect little camping site, everything you need for a short stay. Showers, wash room are immaculate, outside wash area is good and washing machine and dry are also available. There's the option for fire pit and wood if required. A good few walks are immediately available and a must see is puzzle wood. There near by town of Coleford has a selection of shops and is about 10 mins drive away, but check on museum opening times before you head off. Camp site was quite for us, but with a good number of pitches I imagine it will get busy. They are dog and cat friendly but you must keep dogs and cats under control at all time. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Good location, close to Puzzlewood which is just up the road, and Symonds Yat is only a few miles away. We only stayed 3 nights but there's plenty to see in the immediate area.The site's facilities are very well looked after and very clean which must have been a challenge over a busy weekend.There are good dog walks just out of the site.The site is well priced and the staff are friendly My only complaint is the very patchy and erratic WiFi which is a shame as there is zero phone signal in the area on the Vodafone network
