Lovely quiet place. Staff were great. Toilets/showers nice and clean
Friendly staff and good facilities overall. Great location for the Forest of Dean and Chepstow and reasonable value for money. Struggled with the phone signal and site wifi either didn't work or was not strong enough. Improved connectivity would have boosted my rating to excellent. Some people didn't observe the 11.00 pm curfew and no one on site to enforce this. Felt sorry for families with very young children.
A beautiful, friendly campsite with easy access to the Wye valley and Forest of Dean areas. Exceptionally clean toilet block with, an easy access chest freezer for re-freezing ice packs etc. Only negative is a very poor wi-fi in a "no service" area.
I cant fault the cleanliness of the site and the facilities. However the rubbish bins are placed for the convenience of the wardens and not the campers. A small bin outside the toilet block would have gone a long way.Every single clothes hook was broken in the shower cubicles Wifi was intermittent most of the time and non existent on the weekend when site was full.Overall the site was peaceful, wardens were polite and chatty. Site security was very good. Good walk immediately off the site for the dog.
Beautiful area with various walks direct from the Campsite. If you’re after peace & quiet, we highly recommend it. Minor issue is the lack of mobile signal if you need to make a phone call. Facilities, however, are excellent & spotless. Thank you for having us. We will be back…
Great quiet campsite, staff were really friendly, facilities were clean and good sized pitches.
For our first camping trip as a family this place was perfect. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The site was spotlessly clean and a lovely location. Make sure you visit the local village shop and nearby farm shop.
This is a gorgeous campsite. Highly recommend it. Peaceful, quiet, in a stunning area, especially if you like walking & nature. Good dog walks direct from the site. Facilities are spotless & excellent. Staff are friendly & helpful. The only slight issue is the mobile signal, which is patchy, particularly if you need to make a phone call. Thank you for having us - we will be back.
