The site was fine. We could walk to the village via footpaths. Village has castle, pub and lovely community shop. All very pleasant. We planned to cycle and did. However you need to cycle on the main road, which was not to busy but would not suit everyone
Very tidy, clean campsite in a rural area. Showers and loos were nicely fitted out, warm, clean and comfortable. Each pitch nicely spaced out.
This is a really lovely site. The pitches are very generous, everything is well kept and spotlessly clean.
Good base for exploring the area. Onlly downside was some road noise but that blended in as you got used to it.
Prestige condition, Very clean toilet block.Staff Very helpful & friendly.
Friendly staff. Very clean facilities. Kids loved it there. Lots of great information from staff and nothing was too much hassle for them if you needed help.
Great reception received from Lianne! And during our four nights. Clean everywhere and enjoyed our stay! Recommended.
Staff very friendly and helpful Lovely settingAble to walk to St Brievals , lovely billage and brilliant pub!Good dog walking facilities
Had a lovely stay despite the bad weather over the BH. Toilets and showers very clean with plenty of hot water.Pitch access is very easy for large outfits and pitches generous in size. The general areas of the site are very presentable. The location is excellent for exploring the Forest and Dean and Wye Valley. Note there is no phone signal here, which was actually quite nice. Only issue we had was kids kicking footballs on the toilet block which was right next to our pitch. I did ask them to stop, which they didn’t. I was disappointed that the management didn’t stop them as it occurred several times over the weekend.
All areas immaculately clean,we git our campervan stuck in mud on grass pitch due to overnight heavy rain, Jason pulled us out and put us on hardstanding pitch with no extra cost, absolutely brilliant! Would highly recommend, beautiful areas and woodland walks galore, I'll be back!
