The lady that has a pitch on site is an extremely rude person who appears so drunk that she is unable to walk in a straight line and into things, even animals that she then accuses of biting her!Apart from her I found the site located in a beautiful quiet area and was very clean. Staff are very friendly.
Lovely quite, clean site, with very welcoming staff.
lovely relaxing place to stay, easy access to some wonderful woodland walks
Very peaceful site with very clean and tidy facilities, plenty to do in the area
Easy to book online followed by a quick and informative check-in on arrival. The site has plenty of facilities having around 40 pitches. Quiet time between 11pm and 7am honoured by all whilst we were there. This is the kind of simple site with a quality toilet block that we favour and found nothing missing for our needs.
Excellent amenities block very clean
We were so sad to only be staying one night but the price was incredibly reasonable! The site was really easy to find, the main road was super quiet at night time, gorgeous country, forest walks near by, Monmouth and other villages/towns only a drive away! The facilities were immaculately clean.
We love it here but we are disappointed to hear that you’ll be extending the site into the next field, potentially doubling the amount of people staying, with no plans to extend the toilet/shower block? We love that everyone follows the rules and it’s quiet time by 11pm etc, not sure it would be so achievable if the amount of people staying is doubled. We don’t fancy sharing 3 toilets with all those people either, so unfortunately we won’t be returning. It’s a shame as we have such a great weekend when we stay!
Showers turned cold very quickly,to how many on campsite 1st come 1st served. Mystical Waterfall was never there, or the goat?.local attractions/ amenities/restaurants in easy drive.Am planning to go again next year as actually I would recommend 4 "
