Lovely, well kept site.

Walker, Karen - 01/06/2024

This is a lovely site. We were greeted by name, and the staff were friendly and informative throughout our visit. It was a BH weekend so the site was pretty full, but there was plenty of space and sufficient facilities for all. Loads of hot water! Fire pits and wood available to hire. There are marked walks from the site along Slade Brook or over fields to the pub! The site is ideally placed for the many activities that the Forest of Dean has to offer, but you do need transport to get there.

Can’t fault it

Wimbles, Edina - 01/06/2024

When booking a campsite I always book based on how the toilet/shower facilities look and go from there. Toilets and showers were perfect, never dirty and the temperature of the water was nice and consistent which you don’t always get. The overall atmosphere of the site was great. All guests that were there during our stay were really respectful and there was just a lovely peaceful vibe to the whole place. Another plus point was how nice and flat the ground was. We had no issues with mud despite having some rain. Completely understandable that sites can’t control how wet their ground gets but this is just a nice bonus and something that would bring us back in the future. A really well maintained little place and we really enjoyed our stay.
