Tudor Caravan Park is a quiet country side park. The park is set in a picturesque location - a short walk away from the world famous Slimbridge Wetlands Centre, right alongside the Gloucester-Sharpness ship canal with the views of the Cotswold Hills in the background.
The park is ideally placed for excellent fishing and easy cycling along the canal towpath. Walkers can enjoy not only the canal but also the Severn Way which runs alongside the park or Cotswold Way 5 miles away. The park offer a variety of Hard Standing Pitches and Grass Pitches with and without electric hook-up.

The Meadow has electric hook-ups on both hardstandings and grass pitches and is open all year round. Suitable for all types of tourers and camping in tents. We keep a large open area in the centre of the meadow so it feels spacious and there is plenty of room for children to play games.
The site has hedging around most of the perimeter with the Gloucester-Sharpness canal running along one side where you may be lucky enough to see a paddle-steamer or the occasional tall ship passing. The Meadow backs onto the canal and has lovely views over the fields towards the Cotswold Hills.
Our main toilet & shower block is centrally located here for easy access.

Extra-large grass pitches with 16 amp electric hookup. The site is level and has lots of open space on well kept grass.

Facilities are excellent for our 1 night stay to meet up with friends from the north of the country
We were so lucky to find this lovely site - and can't wait to return. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the showers and toilets were immaculate. There is also a little shop on site which is selling everything you need for a perfect cooked breakfast. We had also booked a table at the pub next door and enjoyed a lovely meal. The walk along the canal tow path was just a couple of minutes from the site. Everything was perfect!
We stayed for 3 nights in the middle of the week. Loved the large pitch. Very peaceful with lovely views over the fields.
We camped here for 3 nights and enjoyed the experience. We chose the field away from the main campsite area and had it almost to ourselves. The showers and toilets were a bit of a walk away but were clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed walking the nearby canal but were disappointed with Slimbridge. Great pub close to the site - good for breakfast and dinner.
We were borrowing our son’s recently acquired Mazda Bongo campervan. Site was everything we wanted. As no mains power connection we found the freezer for “freezer blocks/packs particularly useful.Site was very clean and well kept.Very convenient for Slimbridge WWT. We walked there and back.Tudor Arms next door was also very good, compliments the campsite very well.
Lovely campsite with great pub on site serving wonderful food. Close to wetlands centre and canal walks, highly recommend it.
Lovely location with beautiful views, a canal close by and a pub at the entrance (useful for breakfast and dinner when we didn’t want to cook). We stayed for 3 nights midweek in late June. We camped with our tent in the furthest field which was almost deserted! Good, very clean facilities, always available, however they could become crowded if the campsite was busy. Slimbridge wildlife reserve is within walking distance and there are lovely walks along the canal. There is a lot to see and visit in the area. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay avoiding weekends and busy periods if you want a very tranquil stay.
Well positioned,if you are not from gloucester there is alot to see and do.Black Shed very good but shuts too early.Tudor Arms nice looking building and friendly staff, but Dick Turpin did wear a mask, very expensive.
Lovely relaxing stay with friendly welcoming staff. Good pub serving excellent choice of food next door. Would have been 5 stars except for the poor piffling shower power. However we enjoyed our 2 night stay on this well established campsite. I
Thank you for your review and feedback. We have just been informed by the water company that they have been and will continue to be for another week, working on the mains supply so the pressure is reduced! Sorry about that, hopefully it will be restored soon and the showers will be back to normal. We hope to welcome you back again in the near future.Kind regards.
We first visited in 2017 and haven’t been back since, because it’s quite close to home for us. On this occasion we were looking for a site close to home and immediately thought of this one. We weren’t disappointed. Friendly welcome, good size pitch and good/clean facilities. The pub at the entrance was a welcome bonus and we enjoyed a couple of nice meals there. Site’s location, close to the Sharpness Canal & Slimbridge WWT Wetland Centre, is perfect. We’ll be looking to revisit more often in future.
