Tudor Caravan Park is a quiet country side park. The park is set in a picturesque location - a short walk away from the world famous Slimbridge Wetlands Centre, right alongside the Gloucester-Sharpness ship canal with the views of the Cotswold Hills in the background.
The park is ideally placed for excellent fishing and easy cycling along the canal towpath. The park offer a variety of Hard Standing Pitches and Grass Pitches with and without electric hook-up.

The Meadow has electric hook-ups on both hardstandings and grass pitches and is open all year round. Suitable for all types of tourers and camping in tents. We keep a large open area in the centre of the meadow so it feels spacious and there is plenty of room for children to play games.
The site has hedging around most of the perimeter with the Gloucester-Sharpness canal running along one side where you may be lucky enough to see a paddle-steamer or the occasional tall ship passing. The Meadow backs onto the canal and has lovely views over the fields towards the Cotswold Hills.
Our main toilet & shower block is centrally located here for easy access.

Hardstanding, no mud, with good warm facilities and next to a pub serving great food with care.
Easy to book in. Site empty as very cold in January. Toilet blocks still warm and clean x
This is a very good and well maintained camp site. Almost everything is great. The one thing that lets it down a little is the dated approach to having to keep pressing the shower button every 20 seconds! I fully appreciate saving energy and water but having the water stop after 20 seconds makes the shower experience a bad one especially in winter when everything else is so good. I hope the owners will take note as it will make us consider staying elsewhere where the showers don't shut off quickly.I also mention it would be good to have a place to keep your clothes dry whilst showering, or at least protected from the shower spray. On the positives, the toilets were kept clean. It is great having a good pub nextdoor and we enjoyed eating there two nights running. All in all the site is reasonably priced.
Thank you for your review and feedback. Your comments and suggestions have been passed on to the management team.Kind regards.
A short winter stay and didn’t use any onsite facilities. Only saw one member of staff, when checking in, who was efficient and helpful. We were there during the recent cold spell so not expecting to see lots of staff but did hear ground maintenance being carried out.Good spot not far from home with flat walks along the canal.
Stayed in the quiet part of the site over new year which suited us fine. Showers and toilets always clean and warm. The site is situated within an easy stroll to Slimbridge Wildfowl centre and the canal. The Tudor inn, next door served a good variety of tasty meals and a lovely garden centre with restaurant was just a short drive away. All in all a lovely break.
We stayed once again at Tudor from Boxing Day to the new year and the weather was not too bad except on one windy night but we had no problems. The site is well organised and laid out. We stayed on pitch 11 which we liked. We had a hardstand with electric and facilities were near. They were always clean and tidy. The staff as ever were very friendly and helpful if needed. Plenty of walks available along the canal as well as inland. We shall definitely be back again.
Good location for cycling along canal and pretty villages nearby. Toilets were spotlessly clean but quite chilly. Tarmac roads were quite muddy in places and could do with a sweep. Site was clean and tidy otherwise. Had lots of problems with the WiFi, I wouldn’t try to use it next time. Pub on site had a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was average pub grub.
Lovely campsite ,friendly staff cleanliness superb, location excellent ,great pub on entrance ,very dog friendly carpark could do with an overall ,pity there was no bus service out of season as there was plenty of people booked on site,or an available transport link on wknds as travelling in a motorhome was restricted a bit to travelling around as we did t want to move it once we had set up,most probably different in main season though, also black shed cafe was closed aswell ,but otherwise it was a very enjoyable break
Easy to get to well organised reception.Facilitys good.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The site is well managed and has excellent facilities. We shall be returning at some point in the near future.
