Tudor Caravan Park is a quiet country side park. The park is set in a picturesque location - a short walk away from the world famous Slimbridge Wetlands Centre, right alongside the Gloucester-Sharpness ship canal with the views of the Cotswold Hills in the background.
The park is ideally placed for excellent fishing and easy cycling along the canal towpath. The park offer a variety of Hard Standing Pitches and Grass Pitches with and without electric hook-up.

The Meadow has electric hook-ups on both hardstandings and grass pitches and is open all year round. Suitable for all types of tourers and camping in tents. We keep a large open area in the centre of the meadow so it feels spacious and there is plenty of room for children to play games.
The site has hedging around most of the perimeter with the Gloucester-Sharpness canal running along one side where you may be lucky enough to see a paddle-steamer or the occasional tall ship passing. The Meadow backs onto the canal and has lovely views over the fields towards the Cotswold Hills.
Our main toilet & shower block is centrally located here for easy access.

Lovely walking up the canal with dogs. Great pub walking distance, lovely food.
Ideal spot to visit slimbridge wetlan centre. Also lively walks along canal. Pub next door.
Location we like, canal is right by site, where we can take a walk along the canal, which we both find relaxing and interesting all year round. Taking our foldup bikes 🚲🚲 along it was bumpy at places. But I know people have hired electric ones and ridden to Gloucester. We took our racers this time and cycled down the lanes to the ship graveyard. Interesting place, where you can carry on to where people have their boats moared.Take a picnic with you is a nice idea. This is one of the few sites we book in to have a meal at the pub. Food is good and served throughout the day.Blackshed is next to canal where you can eat, watch boats come by, hire boats and bikes.Other places of interest nearby.
Great Site, excellent staff and of course a really good pub just outside the gates, and very walkable access to the Slimbridge WWC
Stay regularly through out the year. Facilities always to a good standard
Lovely site with nice pub on grounds serving excellent food. Nice surroundings and walks
Wonderful site, so near to many attractions. Really spacious and quiet. Very friendly owners and staff.
We stayed, with others of our club, at Tudor Arms Caravan Park and held our AGM and end-of-season party at the Tudor Arms pub next to the site. The site met our needs very well and the pub played its part in providing the venue for the meeting and party. It was pleasant (4 years on) do what we did in the past and camp and party like it's 2019.
A nice location alongside the canal with easy accessible walks and Slimbridge wildfowl trust. The pub next door is also a bonus.
We arrived at the site just before 4pm on Friday afternoon, and found the reception closed . In order to find out where our pitch was located we had to phone the emergency contact number. We were eventually shown to our pitch and then spent the next hour trying to connect our vehicle to the electric point on it. We had to phone the emergency contact again for help in connecting to what turned out to be a faulty electric point. This was temporarily resolved however with a much longer cable attached to a spare connection farther into the site. However apart from this initial inconvenience the site had a very good pub attached , the facilities ( toilets and showers ) were clean/warm and well lit. The site is also ideally located for visiting The Wildfowl Centre, and exploring the Sharpness Canal .
Thank you for your review, I remember you arriving on Friday and Reception was shut but this was after 4pm. You pitch number, pitching instructions and a map of the site was left for you along with some other important information at Reception which your wife had found. I was still onsite and saw you at Reception and showed you to your pitch. You may have rang the emergency number for this but this was not necessary and I was completely unaware of this at the time. We are very quiet this time of year and as a consequence office hours are reduced but there is always at least 1 person on call at all times. I am sorry you had problems with your electric. The RCD on the box was faulty and we were not made aware of this by the previous occupants of this pitch otherwise this would have been fixed before your arrival. You rang the emergency number and I came out immediately and connected you to a spare box rather than repair it there and then and inconvenience any more that evening. I only wish you had rang the emergency number earlier and you would not have wasted an hour of your time. The following day, whilst you were out so as not to inconvenience you again, the RCD on your box was replaced and you were plugged back into that box.I hope this did not spoil your stay with us.RegardsRobin Fairall(Site Owner)
