The park is ideally placed for excellent fishing and easy cycling along the canal towpath. The park offer a variety of Hard Standing Pitches and Grass Pitches with and without electric hook-up.

This area is quieter and more secluded as well as being close to the Orchard amenities block (Please Note: There are a few steps up into the building so it is not suitable for disabled access).
The Orchard is shielded by hedges and has a selection of both old & new apple and plum trees - many of which are local heritage varieties.

The Meadow has electric hook-ups on both hardstandings and grass pitches and is open all year round. Suitable for all types of tourers and camping in tents. We keep a large open area in the centre of the meadow so it feels spacious and there is plenty of room for children to play games.
The site has hedging around most of the perimeter with the Gloucester-Sharpness canal running along one side where you may be lucky enough to see a paddle-steamer or the occasional tall ship passing. The Meadow backs onto the canal and has lovely views over the fields towards the Cotswold Hills.
Our main toilet & shower block is centrally located here for easy access.
Pitch selection incurs a £5 additional charge.
Extra-large grass pitches with 16 amp electric hookup. The site is level and has lots of open space on well kept grass.

Our 2nd time on this site in our campervan with EHU. Great pitch sizes, spotless showers & toilets, well kept grounds, easy check in process. Good pub at entrance, lovely food and drinks.
We would be very surprised if the site could improved at all, very impressed overall
Lovely stay at Tudor just beside the canal good facilities and was a beautiful quiet space we were in with only the clouds and the sheep for company Did a fabulous walk that took on the nearby village the countryside and returned along the canal - where you can enjoy an ice cold beer from the Shed and watch the vista and boats floating by
Friendly helpful staff, facilities were excellent and it's very near to the canal, if you fancy a walk or cycle. It's a 10 minute walk from Slimbridge Wildfowl Park and there are lots of birds around the caravan site. The Tudor Arm Pub, which is by the entrance serves very good food all day.
Campsite ideally situated to visit Slimbridge WWT Reserve which is a great day out. Also pleasant walks along the canal and through the woods to Frampton on Severn (although quite a trek along the road first where there is no footpath). At Frampton there is a very convenient seat on the Green for your lunch. Site itself clean and tidy, plenty of hot water in the showers. No complaints here.
Facilities were lovely - right next to a lovely canal which was great to walk the dogs. Pub food was great.
Stayed here for a couple of nights en route from the north to Cornwall. Lovely walks round and about and we had a great day at Slimbridge too. The site was great, staff very friendly and helpful, facilities excellent, lots of bird song… we have booked to stay on our way home too!
First time here, level pitches, most hard standings. Roads a little narrow (village) when 2 cars meet, but can pull in. We paid £7 cash to extend our stay from 11 til 5 but computers were not playing and took ages for something so simple. 11am a little early to leave site I feel (we left on a BH Monday so had to extend our stay at £7 cash.) A lot of early activity from neighbours who were packing down to leave by 11, so be aware of this. Staff friendly. Site clean and well kept. All the necessities on site, shower, toilets, caravan waste, etc. We were unable to get a TV signal, but that could have just been us. Very close to a pub, and a cafe, and the walks along the canal beautiful, also water sports and boat rides available. The nature reserve just along the road. Ideally situated. We have sited for many years, now touring again I thought £137 (including extension to stay later) for 3 nights expensive, as not quite peak time yet. That said I would recommend.
Thank you for your review and feedback. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and would like to address the points you made.Sorry that it took a long time for you to have a late stay put on the system, the member of staff who you saw is still very new and is excellent but sometimes, when the system plays up, it can leave us all a little out of our depth for a moment! It's not a normal issue. We have the checking out time as off-site by 11.00 as it is later than the majority of sites and also check in for 12 as it's a little earlier too. That only gives us an hour to ensure the site is ready for check in so we really couldn't make it any later. You stayed over May bank holiday which actually is Peak Season and at our most expensive rates. Between bank holidays and school holidays, until 30th June you will find that we are mid season so £35 pr night. Out of season is £30 pr night and if you enjoy Autumn/Winter breaks, there is a 10% discount in the colour welcome brochure you received that you can activate by phoning us with your booking and giving us the code. Nov-Feb.We help this information helps a little and look forward to welcoming you back again., Kind regards.
This was our third stay at the site. Facilities were excellent as always .Staff friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the Orchard for a change ,the pitch was hardstanding and large enough for our camper and large awning.Only downside was sketchy Wi Fi . Not a real issue for us oldies but a point .Lazy walks along the canal side is a must .
