Lovely campsite with spacious pitches, choice of hardstanding or grass. Showers and toilets are clean and reception has a little shop selling camping essentials and local produce. Convenient for WWT Slimbridge and ideal for waterbased activities as alongside Gloucester and Sharpness ship canal. Also great for walking and cycling. Pub very close by serving excellent food and also the Black Barn which is a cafe and hires out canoes and paddleboards etc. We liked it so much we stayed a couple more extra days and will be returning.

The park is a perfect location to just relax or get out and about awalking or cycling along canal or into Gloucester , Stroud and surrounding areas. The staff are super friendly and helpful .the toilet blocks are kept super clean. Grass area for children but no play park . Local pub food fantastic along with the black shed. You won't be disappointed staying here .well done to owners and staff

We stayed over the Easter weekend with friends in our caravans and motor homes. The campsite always looked smart and clean with plenty of hot showers even though it was a bank holiday. Well made roads and hard standings with grass in between. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We ate at the Tudor Arms pub twice and some friends stayed there too. We cycled around each day on our tandems visiting Gloucester docks, Wotton under Edge and Thornbury. A visit to the Wildfowl centre was really great too.

Lovely, welcoming reception team. Toilets/showers always clean. Lots of info about local walks. 2 mins walk from beautiful canal walk. The site itself was clean and very well maintained, only negative is that the dog poo bins needed an extra empty.Tudor arms on site - had a delicious steak - cooked to perfection and at a reasonable price. Sunday roast, nice but not as good value for money. Highly recommend site and pub - will be going back!!!

A nice site

We are regular visitors to this campsite . Excellent facilities which are always spotless, lovely walks along the canal. The Tudor arms and the Blackshed are both only minutes walk from the gate entrance. We will certainly be back

We ran a small rally here and the staff were very helpful throughout the whole process, from booking to actual arrival of our guests. The Tudor arms , the adjacent pub , were also very cooperative …. the skittle alley was very popular. This is our 3rd rally here and we hope to return!

Location is great, clean site, quiet, right by a Public house and the Black Shed Cafe. Sited alongside the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal great for walks long or short in both directions, two toilet blocks kept clean and tidy
