We will be back.

Our first camping trip was amazing so good we rebooked for the weekend after and again had a lovely stay. The site is clean and the staff regularly clean the toilets/shower areas upto 3 times a day. Access to washing up area, drinking water and showers. A great family run site with plenty of space between pitches and for children to play. For an additional charge there is a farm, soft play and diner all next door to the pitches which are definitely value for money especially when the rain hits and you need a change of scenery than your tent walls. Close enough to Aldi and shops which was a bonus for us due to having the smallest car in the world so couldn’t pack food for the full stay. They do hold events which can sometimes go late into the evening. The noise is minimal but staff offered free entry to farm/soft play for the inconvenience. This was very nice of them and acknowledged by us and other campers that weekend. We can’t wait to go back.

Glamping

The Monster trucks day was a wash out due to the good old British weather, we were soaking wet and cold within 30 minutes of arriving (11am). The torrential constant rain meant that we couldn't enjoy any of the outside activities or facilities. The soft play was fully booked we couldn't go in until 4pm which meant that we had to take shelter in the secret garden. The secret garden was leaky with just 2 heaters working when we asked the bar staff to turn the others one we were told non worked. We sat in there waiting for almost 4 hours in wet clothes no heat waiting for either soft play or access to our tent to change and get warm. Imagine our surprise at 5pm when EVERYTHING shut. No access for the kids to park, no bar or anywhere at all to eat. BBQs were prohibited, we literally only had access to the portable toilet showers and our tent! disappointed does not describe the experience. Not worth the money - zero facilities NOT LUXURY GLAMPING AT ALL.

Mixed stay

Feltham, Kirsty - 04/06/2024

We had a great first night at the campsite, facilities were fine for the site being about half full. Staff were helpful and views stunning. Second night, toilets and electricity supply were struggling to cope with volume. Several caravans made no effort to respect the low noise after 8pm rule which really spoilt our second evening.I would say that we would definitely return if some considerations were made about the following:- increasing toilet and shower facilities - considering someone being on site to enforce the noise restrictions, makes it much more appealing for families with younger children - consider letting campers use the farm park after 2pm for free- farm park was excellent for a full day out before we left, but we would have used the diner and spent more money on ‘extras’ if we could have gone in for a couple of hours for free (especially as the campsite and park are quite costly)- a few bits available in the shop for campers… even just a fridge selling milk

The grass in the camp should be maintained more. That day I saw that the grass on the grass grew very long, there was water accumulation, and the ground became more uneven. I hope it can be improved. In addition, the number of bathrooms is too small. One

Disappointed

Lewis, Daniel - 01/05/2024

We were bitterly disappointed, after seeing the glorious website, with what we experienced. The shower was sporadic and very low flow. The toilet light turns off very quickly leaving me stranded on the loo with no lights. The toilets were a whopping 300 yards from the camping field. The sheep were allowed to be in the camping field while we were there, defecating near our tent and the jolly farm hand was driving around on his quad from 06:30.

Could be great if they sorted the drainage

Hampson, Leanne - 11/04/2024

The location is great and the farm is brilliant. The facilities are small 3 toilets and 2 showers but they are great and clean. The pitches on the other hand and dreadful. They were so muddy. We had booked a grass electric pitch and couldn’t even drive on to it. Luckily there were some other guests who helped push me off in the campervan. We then went to another pitch and it was slightly better. I managed to get all 4 wheels on the pitch. The mud was EVERYWHERE though. I had to get pushed off the pitch again at the end of our stay. It’s such a shame as it could be so nice.
