First time at the View after staying at the sister site before a few times Nice size pitches, great toilets and showers with a well stocked shop

This was our 6th visit to The View, it’s a wonderful campsite, very clean with friendly staff and great amenities!

I have been to the View 5 times now and every time it’s perfect. The toilets and showers are always clean and the showers are always hot. The staff are friendly and the pitches are a good size. I’ve been with family and as a solo traveller, and as a solo traveller I have always felt safe. I’d highly recommend The View

This is the second time visiting The View at Watergate Bay. What a lovely small campsite with the added bonus of using all the facilities at the Watergate Touring Park. The campsite is very clean ( the staff were endlessly ensuring all the facilities were kept immaculate!). We booked one of the premium pitches which was very spacious & it also had a picnic bench & patio area, electric & water supply. The view overlooking the bay was stunning, the sunsets were breathtaking. The View Cafe had a very relaxed atmosphere & the food was delicious. The staff were so friendly & professional too. The onsite shop although small, catered for everything you could possibly need & if they didn’t have it, the shop at the larger site did. Very dog friendly everywhere too! The pool was also really clean & was a real gem. Even though it was during the Summer holidays there were always plenty of sun loungers to relax & enjoy the sunshine. The location is stunning, with beautiful sea views and incredible sunsets that made every evening special. The site is peaceful, well maintained and in a perfect position for exploring the North Cornwall coast. We loved being able to walk down to Watergate Bay and then use the campsite as a base for trips to Mousehole, Penzance, Land's End, St Ives and Harlyn Beach.The facilities were spotlessly clean throughout our stay, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The pitches felt spacious, and despite being a popular site, it never felt overcrowded. The on-site café was a lovely bonus too.

Beautiful views, great sized pitches, all facilities were spotless. Always toilet paper, warm showers, the shop was well stocked. ANPR barrier is a nice touch, means people can’t bring noisy extras! The site has clearly been done up since pictures were taken. Our only issue was the pitch was very dry, so much so we struggled with getting our pegs in. After the dry spell we’ve had it’s understandable and not the campsites fault, I just wonder whether they could be watered. The views are fantastic, 10 minute walk to Watergate Bay beach, easy access to some beautiful coastal walks. We will be coming back!

We had a lovely time at the view. Pitches are roomy. Staff is super friendly. Camp shop has a good assortment. The pitches do not offer a lot of privacy but that’s very clear from the website. Only thing we missed was a communal fridge really. We wouldCome again!

Return visit to this lovely site. Welcoming staff, good size pitches with beautiful views and sunsets. Facilities clean and well thought out - very good. The licensed on-site cafe had new menu - we loved it and ate there lots, good quality local ingredients (no UPF here) - a great change from pizza and burgers, delicious and lots of choice at a good price. You can use the Cribbar cafe at the nearby sister site if you do want burgers etc, again at an amazing price. The walk down to Watergate Bay takes 15 minutes, is mainly off road and is stunning. A few steps on the way back up, but not steep at all by Cornwall standards! We love this site and are already looking forward to our return visit.
