We had a wonderful time at Ruthern Valley Log Cabin Holiday Accommodation.Everything was very clean and comfortable. The squirrels and birds visited us on the terrace every day. My daughter watched them for hours after waking up. She said she would move there because the house is enough for her, if it is in such a beautiful environment. I had to agree. So, if you need worker who live in, contact us😊
We had a lovely stay at Ruthern Valley Holidays. The campsite is set in a beautiful and peaceful landscape, which made it a very relaxing place for our family holiday. The site was quiet, well kept and had sufficient facilities for our needs, including toilets, showers and washing-up areas. Parking was also sufficient and convenient. The location is good for enjoying the surrounding countryside and exploring nearby attractions. Overall, we felt it was good value for money and a nice place for a family break. One small suggestion would be to improve the lighting or indication lights around the campsite at night, especially on the way to the toilets and showers. It was quite dark after sunset, so guests should remember to bring their own torch or headlight when going out at night.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the campsite to families who like a quiet and natural environment.
We stayed in one of the log cabins. The rooms were simple but excelent maintained and spotless clean. The outside space was very nice too. The camp shop has all the supplies you could need for a short stay and the staff is very friendly and helpfull. All in all we had a wonderfull stay, highly reccomended!
Ruthern Valley site is a jewel in cornwall. It is really well maintained and run by Andrew and Nicola. The facilities are excellent. We have stayed here before, in the cabins, but this time camped on an electric pitch. Both times we enjoyed the peace and quiet that the site offers even with kids on site. The shop is well stocked and has about everything that you've forgotten! Being almost central to the county, nearly all of the county, and attractions are within easy reach. Once you get the hang of the lanes, don't go into hedges as there may be a wall in there, Ruthern Valley is easy to access. Being only about 15 minutes from Bodmin, the variety of foods on offer is great with major supermarkets available. All in all , agreat place to holiday, price reasonable and definitely be going back.
We had an amazing week in Cornwall with lovely accommodation to return to every evening. Our holiday was above and beyond our expectation. Thank you to Ruthern valley for all the hard work they do to give everyone a wonderful place to stay and enjoy.
Nicky and Andrew are always welcoming and do all they can to make your visit a memorable occasion. Grounds are always so well attended and so full of wildlife, no pool, no clubhouse just a shop selling pretty much all you need for a peaceful break.
The owners of the site are extremely helpful and cheerful They very kindly upgraded us from an electric pod to a wigwam pod.Our six year old son loved the pigs even named the brown one fudge his favourite one 🐖 he checked on him both days.We will have to book again soon to check on Fudge.
Another excellent stay. The cabin is comfortable and well equipped.
Our 2nd visit to this site, beautiful quiet surroundings, all you can hear are the birds singing & watch the squirrels playing. Near to the Camel Trail for fabulous days out cycling or a little trip on a steam train. Lovely owners & a little shop for anything you may have forgotten.
We stayed for a couple of nights in our campervan in early May. This site is so peaceful and quiet, the only noise was birdsong, and it's surrounded by trees and beautiful countryside. Showers were lovely and hot. It's a short cycle down quiet some country lanes to join the Camel Trail. We hired bikes from the owners as we hadn't been able to bring our own and cycled to Padstow for lunch. Overall, this the perfect location to enjoy nature and some easy and accessible cycling.
