Lovely spacious quiet site with new toilet block.Excellent dog exercising field.Showers too hot if anything( couldn't seem to regulate temp)Bins,soap needed emptying,replenishing but as quiet guessed this was reason.Friendly,informative hosts.Reasonable cost.

Couldn’t remember what the site was like till I arrived , and exceeded expectations as was clean and lots of facilities and good cafe and shop, downsides, no drinks license so could t buy wine and campsite could be cramped on a busy weekend, but great position for walks and beach

Lovely open field site. Although grass pitches, field drains very well and despite it raining every day, we had no problems with access or traction. Very good sized level pitches with water and electricity nearby in the upper field where I believe most of the short stay sites are placed. New facilities block very clean. Only fault was that already three taps and two drain plugs not working in men’s block - owners aware and fixing this winter. Also could do with a few more hooks in showers and toilets.Overall excellent site and great position for visiting all the local areas.

Returned again to this friendly site at a great location. So close to all the beaches, a local bakery, convenience store and a busy Tescos. Lovely pitches with so much space around, you don't feel crammed in like other sites we've been to, that's why we like it so much. The toilet and shower block was regularly cleaned and the staff were always friendly and happy to chat. Great separate dog field to rome around. I'm sure we'll be back another year!

We were told "no groups", however the pitch next to us had 4 accomodation units, 8 adults 5 children. We complained about the noise and swearing but the campsite owners said they were "families ". We believed people had to book a full week yet the people adjoining said they had others coming Thursday and were planning a party. It was very stressful, our grandson of 8yrs was frightened of the shouting and swearing, they were stood in our pitch next to the tent 'star gazing '. We had to leave after only 3 nights. It was a real shame as the site is beautiful and was exactly what we were looking for, sadly peace and quiet wasn't to be.

I spent 2 weeks non elec camping some nights on my own other times family and friends visited for a few nights. The staff were friendly, the facilities were clean and tidy. The 6 beaches were beautiful, with rock pools, sand, life guards and facilities all within a short drive and most reasonably priced parking and a very short walk to the beach. I will be returning

We have stayed here for the last 5 years and it never disappoints, great location, big pitches and friendly people.

Lovely place

A lovely campsite, quiet and peaceful with great views. Facilities good, very warm showers and a nice clean dish wash/washing machine area.The owners were lovely - very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We stayed on an electric pitch with a tent and had a really lovely camping holiday. The pitches were well spaced out so not on top of your neighbours. The location was great, short drive to Padstow and beaches and about 10 mins walking into Cornish Arms at St Merryn.Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend.

Large clean and well kept site nice sized pictures beautiful views very good location very clean and welcoming when you're arrive very happy with our stay we hope to be returning again
