The Alders Caravan Park offers visitors an opportunity to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The woodland, water meadow with wild flowers and animals, and woodland walks all combine to offer the discerning and nature loving visitor an idyllic environment in which to stay.

The Alders has been developed on historic parkland on a working farm so that visitors can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Yorkshire countryside. The Alders is ideally located to explore the many attractions and beautiful areas in North Yorkshire. With the park's space and tranquility of the landscaped parkland it provides a beautiful environment for your stay.

The Alders have a range of Hard Standing and Grass pitches available with electric hook-up, suitable for touring caravans, motorhomes and campervans. The park also offers the opportunity to stay in your very own pod, they are located in their own landscaped area with plenty of space and privacy. Pods offer visitors the freedom and ambience of traditional camping whilst giving you a higher level of privacy and security and more comfort both inside and out. Alternatively pitches are available for you to bring your own tent.

The Alders has been carefully developed to ensure privacy through internal landscape and imaginative design. Spacious bays housing groups of caravans named after Yorkshire's famous Abbeys and Dales provide privacy with space. Our two shower blocks are centrally located for ease of access to all.

Second time of staying, love the layout of the pitches, plenty of space. Facilities clean and plenty of hot water. Staff very friendly. Lovely fresh free range eggs. Close to park and ride to York. Popular cafe in reception sadly didn't have time to enjoy the tempting display of cakes.Looking forward to our third visit and sampling the cakes in the cafe.

Staff were very friendly on arrival and departure. Didnt bother or hassle us during our stay. Facilities always spotlessly clean. Toilets and shower with space. Surrounding area is so beautiful, many local walks , lovely villages and great cafes.

This is a marvellous spacious site, well maintained. Part of a working farm, next to village cricket pitch with seats to watch. Idyllic setting. Facilities good when site not very full. Highly recommended.
