This campsite has several camp 'spaces', all with a very wide layout, nice greenery bufferzones and very nice and clean sanitary.The people are very nice and helpful.

We had a lovely 2 night break at The Alders.Great park, peaceful and beautuful surroundings.Had everything we needed.

We have gone from camping to caravaning and this was our first stay in our caravan. Our caravan is in storage on site and opted for the pull out/in service. We expressed that we would be arriving to the site a little late, knocking on for 9pm and would need to collect our keys from reception. This was not a problem. We were greeted and given a map and shown were all facilities were located. We were greeted by one of the wardens who showed us to our plot. After some general chit chat about setting up and it being our first caravan and the first time we are staying in it he stated that if we have any issues to give him a knock and he would help.2 shower and toilet blocks situated pretty much central on site with sink facilities at the rears for washing up. Dog friendly with plenty of dog tracks interwoven through the site.The site is on a working farm so you pass chickens, sheep and cows but can't hear them.Cricket club is within the farm grounds for a pint.Would highly recom

Lovely site, plenty space, just a beautiful site, nice an peaceful, and the staff make it, All of them a credit, extra mention to Paul who was super helpful and friendly, bought steak from the shop which was a nice treat for the bbq, always reluctant to give good feedback as knowing our luck it will be fully booked next time, but it’s well deserved, can’t wait to come back.

Great site, friendly staff and fellow campers. Nice villages and friendly locals. Clean facilities and location is good for shopping etc in York.

We have been coming to the Alders for a number of years now and are always impressed with the overall facility. Lovely staff, clean toilets and shower blocks. Helpfulness of all and of course the location. Highly recommended ,friends have also visited and were very pleased to have been. Our dogs love it here with lovely walks around the park and also nearby. Mid way between York and Thirsk the Alders is ideally located to visit all the local attraction and sights. Looking to get back again ASAP

Lovely place, the owners were very welcoming when we arrived. Good spacious pitch, toilets and shower facilities were very clean. Grandson loved the animals on the farm. There’s a cafe at reception which always seemed busy. There’s a bus stop 5 minutes away which takes you into York. This was our 2nd visit and will definitely be back .

Alders Caravan park is a fabulous site... easy to get to the staff cant do enough for you... the facilities are top class wouldn't go any where else the site has ever thing you need
