St Helens Caravan Park is a large 36 acre campsite offering 100 touring pitches – most of which are hardstanding – including 30 adult only pitches in a quiet zone. The site is divided into terraces with tree screening creating smaller, more private areas – a feature which enables different areas of the park to vary in character and outlook. The terracing and landscaping suits the requirements of a wide range of caravanners and motorhomers.
As well as the park's adults only zone, they offer plenty of family pitches both hardstanding and grass with a number of play areas and open space for family activates. The park also have six acres devoted to Country Park for walking and relaxing – with animals to look at including pigs, sheep and our famous alpacas.
If guests fancy a truly unique camping experience the park offer a number of purpose built wooden pods. The pods will keep you warm in the winter months and cool in the summer due to fantastic insulation.

We stayed for 8 nights over new year and the site was a great base to visit Scarborough and along the coast. We only got to pop into the Hitch & Brew once but it was really nice with lovely coffees, cakes and hot sandwiches. The toilet/shower facilities where about the best we've used, really clean with underfloor heating, good ventilation for showers and large cubicles with plenty of bench space & hooks for clothes, towels etc. It snowed while we were there and we have difficulty towing our van offsite but the staff jumped in to help us get going and ending up towing us beyond the barrier with their own car which was really appreciated. Top site, highly recommended and we've already booked for the same time next year! :)
Excellent site top notch facilities i did find electric quite expensive but it was frosty and snowy so I wont grumble well done to all great people and friendly will visit again

You will have a amazing time here the pitches are spot on the staff are so very helpful and polite nothing is too much they always try new things like food vans to party in the parks to big events when downy arms is back open we had an amazing time and enjoyed the end of season doo at downy arms please please do another one or even in a big markee .. we love going there it's calm peaceful and we meet amazing people from all over .. a great big well done to you all from daz Jo and little tinkerbell
My husband and I stayed for a weekend in December 2025 In our Campervan. On arrival we were impressed with the Christmas decorations that were up. When we arrived it was dark so couldn't see the rest of the site till morning. But we weren't disappointed. It was very well looked after. On check-in the staff in the reception were very welcoming and friendly. We booked a private bathroom. This was clean and warm. It had everything we needed for out stay. The decor was lovely. Accessibility was perfect which was great because my husband is on crutches at the minute due to a broken leg/ankle. We checked the normal facilities out (toilets/showers) they were also clean and welcoming. There's a small shop which sells an array of things you might have forgotten or run out of. We went to the onsite cafe before we left. Again the staff were welcoming and friendly. The menu was adequate and reasonably priced. We enjoyed what we had and would recommend. We will definitely visit again.
Site was spotless and toilet facilities. Had a breakfast which sadly was a letdown under cooked sausage and snotty eggs, paid for private bathroom but bath water was warm not hot and as a warden on a camping site I fail to see why it was cheaper to book through pitch up than directly with you as we asked for extra 2 night which was £5 a night dearer ?? When we left there was no have you had a nice stay safe journey ect which we do on our site just a group talking between them selfs so poor customer service
Lovely site. Well maintained, clean.Nice coffee shop on site.Decent value for money.Facilities good.Only gripe is contact. No telephone calls are ever answered. Finding the telephone number is a quest in itself. They operate a call back system and when they do call back, they are lovely but getting hold of someone is very frustrating.
We are regular visitors to St Helens in the Park and have been for many years. It isn't a surprise to hear it has been awarded Campsite of the Year 2025/26 and it is well deserved. Simon Poe and the whole team are dedicated to making your stay here a good one. We often find we can relax and enjoy the time spent there without needing to venture to the coast which is approx 6 miles away. It has beautiful grounds and a superb cafe and shop on site. It is a wonderful place to stay throughout the seasons.
