St Helens Caravan Park

4.8 (292 reviews)

St Helens in the Park is an attractive, established park situated on the edge of the North York Moors National Park offering a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere and is set in wonderful surroundings with first-class-facilities, with tree screening creating smaller and more intimate areas.

St Helens Caravan Park is a large 36 acre campsite offering 100 touring pitches – most of which are hardstanding – including 30 adult only pitches in a quiet zone. The site is divided into terraces with tree screening creating smaller, more private areas – a feature which enables different areas of the park to vary in character and outlook. The terracing and landscaping suits the requirements of a wide range of caravanners and motorhomers.

As well as the park's adults only zone, they offer plenty of family pitches both hardstanding and grass with a number of play areas and open space for family activates. The park also have six acres devoted to Country Park for walking and relaxing – with animals to look at including pigs, sheep and our famous alpacas.

If guests fancy a truly unique camping experience the park offer a number of purpose built wooden pods. The pods will keep you warm in the winter months and cool in the summer due to fantastic insulation.

Lovely location and a first class site.

Heaphy, Steve - 12/05/2025

5

This was our second stay at St Helens and it has been another very pleasant stay. Exceptionally well maintained site in all areas, facilities are very good and the staff are friendly helpful and always welcoming. Scarborough area is lovely and we have found good restaurants nearby for the days we chose to eat out. The town itself is good for parking and the attractions are mainly traditional and interesting. We have another stay booked for later in the summer - so I can't think of a better recommendation !

Wonderful site

Yet another great stay on St Helen’s Park. From the moment you drive on to the site until the sad day of leaving you are met with warm friendliness from staff and fellow guests. The site is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The opening of the refurbished block will be welcome. The site of Simon dressed in a pink wig and skirt will stay with us forever 😂

Well kept friendly site

McManus, Sue - 06/05/2025

Well situated just outside Scarborough, a lovely peaceful site. We usually visit at New Year, but this visit was at the end of April. There were flowers everywhere and beautiful blossom trees on the drive. The site is very well kept, clean and quiet. The nearest toilet block was in the process of refurbishment while we were there, it looks as though it’s going to be lovely. There’s a coffee shop on site which is open to the public and very popular, with both in and outside seating and a little shop ( which we didn’t use as it was only open on weekends at this time of year). There are donkeys and a llama (alpaca?) in the field next door. Alttogether s lovely site. We will be back.
