St Helens Caravan Park is a large 36 acre campsite offering 100 touring pitches – most of which are hardstanding – including 30 adult only pitches in a quiet zone. The site is divided into terraces with tree screening creating smaller, more private areas – a feature which enables different areas of the park to vary in character and outlook. The terracing and landscaping suits the requirements of a wide range of caravanners and motorhomers.
As well as the park's adults only zone, they offer plenty of family pitches both hardstanding and grass with a number of play areas and open space for family activates. The park also have six acres devoted to Country Park for walking and relaxing – with animals to look at including pigs, sheep and our famous alpacas.
If guests fancy a truly unique camping experience the park offer a number of purpose built wooden pods. The pods will keep you warm in the winter months and cool in the summer due to fantastic insulation.

We were greeted warmly by Simon on Reception and check-in was very quick. The toilet and shower facilities are excellent, very clean and warm, which was welcome on a cold December.New to motor - homing, we forgot to pack glasses for the wine we brought with us but Simon very kindly brought some to our motor home. A great service all round. The location is very good to access that part of Yorkshire.
From arriving to leaving staff were so plesent and helpful. Even helping getting our motorhome and car through snow to our pitch.
As always we received a warm welcome upon arrival. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The site and facilities are always spotlessly clean and tidy. Fellow campers are so friendly. Cant wait to return.

I have given St Helens a 5 star review and would give higher if I could. We are regular visitors here and having use of the storage facility now we shall be here often. The site is of a good size, having good spacious plots and excellent facilities with underfloor heating. There is a cafe that is fantastic on site too, a real bonus if you really want to relax! The site is immaculately kept with friendly staff who are obviously proud of the site and it shows.The site is positioned ideally for the east coast if you want the beaches or more inland for the lovely villages: Thornton Le Dale, Pickering, Dalby Forest and the moors over to Whitby…. all lovely.Before I finish I must also recommend that if you like your fish and chips you must visit East Ayton Fisheries which is the best we have tasted. It is opposite the wonderful Spa shop which is fantastic for all your needs too.St Helens in the Park is wonderful and we can’t wait to go again.
Second winter weekend stay. All you would expect from a platinum Park. Little use of some of the facilities in the Winter months.amenities blocks are being renovated and the newly opened ones are great. Only downsides were being charged £20 for a 3 hour late stay, no seperate toilets in the blocks meant I showered and changed with a bad smell in the individual bathroom lay out. The non seasonal pitches weren't adequately lit at night. No complaints though at half tariff.
Nice site really good toilets and showers real toilet paper and constant hot water for showers no timed valve to press, would stay again
A great site and fantastic amenities. Great to have the visiting food options in the evening but do double check what they say is available in the emails as this was not correct whilst we were there.
