Came here with the boys caravaning 25 years ago. How things gave changed. though this time we were trying out our tent 1st time. I know we don't pay as much but WiFi was no way near us and a toilet in the camping area would be great as long walk when you need to go early hours.Walks nearby was new to us as we only remember the walk to downes Arms. We will return as we found a pub 2 miles away called denison Arms. As west ayton is closed Monday for food except this pub and the food was excellent.

We stayed in a tent opposite the children's play area so was really easy to keep an eye on the children whilst relaxing in the camping chairs. There was plenty of grassed area for ball games and the whole site had a friendly feel to it

Really lovely site everything you could wish for when your away from home. Very clean and facilities are brilliant.

We've been here several times and this was our 2nd trip this year, we always have a great time. They're continually making improvements to the Park and it's really well looked after. Tried the pizzas for the first time from the cafe and they were really nice, we also had fish & chips from the van which were good too. Staff are really friendly, in particular the lady on reception when we arrived (sorry didn't get her name). We had a drive up to the water park, just to have a look and for somewhere different to walk the dog. Really impressed, there's a dog friendly cafe up there too which was good. All the kids there looked like they were having a great time. Great location for all the attractions in the area, of which there are loads and if the weather is kind it's even better. Access to the site is easy, as is access to the pitches - they all look fairly level too, we've never needed blocks or anything like that. On site dog walk is great too.

Having already left a review I will keep it short and to the point .pros very helpful and friendly staff,well kept grounds and pitches ,clean toilet facilities ,small shop and laundry on site ,bus stop outside park and a good play area for the kids .Now the Cons showers are set to hot (near pitch 99) ,basin tap obstructs the sink use and some pitch ID markers need improoving ,the hot shower caused us and others concern as it's a fixed temp, kids could be put off by it .All in all we enjoyed our stay with a possibility we will return.

Very friendly welcome, immaculate facilities, very well kept tidy site with cafe, laundrette and even a dog wash area! bus stop directly outside site with the buses running to scarbourough. A short walk (approx 5 mins) into Wykham there's a pub, we didn't eat there but the food looked nice. we will definitely be returning to St Helens, overall a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Although we thought it was fantastic caravan park our second weekend was spoilt by noisey children on scooters. From Friday evening till Sunday lunch time we had to put up with screaming youngsters on scooters up and down the adults only section. One of them almost hit a lady walking along the road outside our van. However on a positive note after i complained the warden did return to tell me they would address the problem.

5 stars only faut not being able to book next year before we left for home
