Good Afternoon Rosie,Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.I am very sorry to hear you did not feel welcomed at Southwinds. This would be very unusual, our reviews often compliment the friendliness and helpfulness of our team.I am pleased to read you found our campsite clean. The taps are set so that they cannot be left running, we have found this can and will happen if we have taps that do not have the push top switch. this saves an awful lot of unnecessary water waste.In relation to the hairdryer/hair straightener issue, we do provide free to use hairdryers in both shower facilities, for obvious reasons we cannot put electric sockets in a shower room. there is an electric point in the ladies toilet area at the bottom of the reception stairs. We do ask all our guests to position their camping unit to the left of their pitch to assist with spacing and provide a fire break. I am sorry if this was not the case with your neighbour, we do try to monitor this, however the tent neighbouring to you was tiny and in the middle of the pitch. We do ask that people keep any noise to a minimum and within the realms of their pitch, however there will always be some noises heard from tent to tent whilst camping ! We do hope you will return to Southwinds, maybe a larger pitch would be a better option for you on a future visit, this would give you more space away from neighbours plus room for your roof tent and Gazebo.
