Beautiful site we didn’t arrive till late Friday and left early Sunday but overall our stay was lovely! Lovely quiet site and toilet/shower block clean was been impressed worn family room with a bath! The only thing I can say negative is the lighting around near the toilet block at night. It’s very dark but apart from that everything else was spot on! Thank you!

Brilliant place to stay, good location me and my wife did a lot of hiking in the Peak District National Park so this site was perfectly placed. Lady at the desk was extremely informative at check-in with places to walk, eat, cycle,local shops & pubs etc with a map of the grounds. To be fair all staff were extremely polite, friendly and chatty. The grounds are kept in perfect order, we had a large tent electric pitch with water tap hook up. Facilities are kept extremely clean, heated shower/toilets a cute little shop with essentials. Fire-pit hire was the cheapest I've paid this year, a small farm on the grounds to have walk around feed the animals. Plenty of space for kids to run wild in the safety of the site. Fresh milk on site straight from the cow, ice cream made from the farms milk was nice too. All in all we 100% will be going to this place without any doubt.

It is a beautiful site well run by very friendly people facilities are very good and the easy access to the Tissington Trail and good walking it is ideal for those wanting to enjoy the an active holiday and those who just want to relax

Pleasant campsite with lovely views and access to the High Peak Trail.Staff were friendly and helpful.Excellent toilet block - plenty of toilets and showers and very clean and warmJust off the main road but no traffic noise.

Nothing to say but excellent. We had a wonderful two days at this beautiful site. The toilets and showers are so clean and modern, and above all warm!! Check in was welcoming and informative. The animals on the farm were really well looked after and their living areas too. Alpacas, goats, rabbits, pigs, guinea pigs, cows and calfs, donkeys and ..... even more goats. It was lovely to see the farmer bringing the dairy cows in for milking, they were very comical. An added bonus was the fresh milk machine and the Pomeroy ice cream, delicious.At the edge of the site is an old railway track (now a footpath) which is easily accessed. We walked for about half an hour to a lovely pub called The Royal Oak, the food was stunning and the service was good too (dog friendly too). All in all a fabulous weekend, we will definitely be back 😀

We attended the site in a camper with our two children (aged 8 and 2). The site was clean and tidy, checking in was very easy and a map and explanation was provided. The animals were very friendly and our children loved visiting them each day! It’s located just outside of Buxton, so only a short drive to amenities and Buxton itself. The site is located right next to High Peak Trail so you can drop onto it via gates from the bottom field on the farm.The facilities were brilliant and showers hot, underfloor heating too! Will visit again! Thank you.

Pomeroy is an excellent location with fantastic facilities, very friendly, and helpful staff.Excellent walking in the area. Very suitable for school groups and DofE

Lovely campsite spotless facilities well situated for cycling or walking the Tissington High Peak Trails. Small animal park and beautiful wild flower meadows. All excellent.

Great little site. Obviously used extensively for weekend stopovers and family meet-ups which can make it difficult to book longer stays at short notice. Great toilet and shower block, good location, loved having water and drain at each pitch. My only negative is the grass pitches need rotation, Each one has a bald patch bald and gest very muddy in the rain. Bit of a problem so the only answer is to park your caravan on the bare ground. However the site does drain and dry quickly. All round lovely site in a nice place with great facilities

We only live half an hour from Pomeroy but it is our ‘go to’ site for a relaxing weekend away in the caravan. Great facilities on site, amazing ice cream, friendly staff, access to the peaks, lots of animals for the kids to see and occasionally Roccos pizza van! The best!
