Super friendly staff, the best toilets, showers and washing up luxury ever on a campsite! Lovely fresh ice cream, cute animals (petting) and tidy pitches. Great access to Tissington trail and hills.

Our second stay here, and just as lovely as the first! A warm welcome, a peaceful site and great views. The facilities are spotless and heated, with lovely hot showers and good water pressure. There’s also a footpath straight from the campsite, perfect for a walk. We’ve had another great stay and would happily return again!

We spent 5 days at Pomeroy Caravan Park in October 2026 and from start to finish, we found the staff in the Reception/Shop and those looking after the wide variety of friendly animals (goats, rabbits, donkeys, llamas, alpacas, pigs ...) very helpful and pleasant. The fully serviced pitch was fine and the shop ice cream was excellent! The Park's proximity to Buxton Spa Town is an added bonus.

We stayed in a caravan and our friends stayed in tents, we didn’t use the facilities but the rest of our group said they were excellent. Clean and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. Ice cream and milk vending machine was fab! Will definitely be back.

Excellent facilities and a great location handy for all the major towns as well as good walks in the area.

The pitches are nice a spacious, the shop sells a good variety and amazing home made ice cream and the shower block is the best shower block I have ever seen! Spacious, clean, modern and underfloor heating! Direct access to the high peak trail. 15 min walk to the Royal Oak pub up the trail. Lovely well maintained site.

Lovely campsite with excellent facilities, small shop. Great location for walking and cycling. Local pub only open Wednesday to Sunday in the evenings only.

Spotless facilities, friendly staff, plenty of space for the kids, animals to feed and the best ice creams. What’s not to love!!

Cons - grass pitch that was quite muddy and it's not been too wet recently so unsure how they would hold up in worse weather as we have a caravan. Pros - great toilet block that was kept clean and really warm. Unfortunately some guests can't keep facilities clean but thats not the blame of the staff!- Access to the high peak trail from the site is great for walking and cycling and the cycle hire on the tissington trail is only 3 miles away- Royal Oak pub at Hurdlow is a 20 minute walk away along the trail and has some of the best pub food around. Steak pie is a must!!! - Petting farm on site that was fabulous for the youngsters in the group. - Fire pit hire was also a hit for toasted marshmallows. - There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere, staff are friendly and helpful and we will definitely be considering returning and will recommend to others.
