Only had our campervan a couple of weeks so getting to grips with it. Visiting this location was great for us to test it again and this place was not to far away but a nice location. We took a nice walk down trail, sampled the fresh milk/milkshake along with some ice-cream. We had a nice stroll around farm seeing the animals along with experiencing the alpaca squealing at the cows in far off field. Fabulous visit and environment for us to chill and relax.We will be re visiting soon.

lovely quiet site. Very friendly staff and the site is very well maintained and cleaned.The toilets / showers were lovely and clean and modern.Having the animals on site was lovely for the family and it was nice wakening up to the sound of them.Will come back again for a short weekend break but no longer just due to the fact not much around the site.

It was brilliant value for money

Pomeroy campsite is placed in the middle of spectacular scenery and lies between Bakewell and Buxton Staff were so friendly and informative The facilities were new and spotless the pot wash and laundry area very clean but beware the washing machine and dryer need £1 coins and are bit loud I would recommend to everyone

Great little campsite, good wash facilities. Good location, great entertainment for kids with the animals and great ice cream!

As a family we love the ice cream and animal petting plus the location is great for walking and cycling. The site is clean and the facilities are very good. We will definitely be back.

We had such a lovely stay here. Will be returning for sure. Would love to see goal posts on the games field though as I’m pretty sure the other family cheated with the size of their goal made from rocks haha

Great place for out last night stopover, particularly loved the enclosed dog field. The only slight downside, for my needs, was the Toilet Block. Although clean and a decent size to accommodate guests, the shower was hard to set to a consistent temperature. The block was cold too and needs some heating. On top of this there was a constant droning noise going on, but perhaps all these issues were related if they were having boiler issues? Otherwise, if you do not mind being isolated without an on site bar/clubhouse, 5 Stars.

Lovely clean and tidy site with excellent facilities which were very well maintained. We had a lovely few days over the Easter weekend

A lovely peaceful stay very friendly staff and lovely clean toilets only observation would be the toilet door needs adjustment so that it closes properly it was very cold showering but 10/10 for cleanliness
