On arriving we knew exactly where everything was thanks to the map and the staff. Drove to the pitch and unfortunately found a dangerous, broken peg in the grass. Seemed like our pitch wasn't checked over before our arrival. The pitches are a decent width but unfortunately not the longest. That and the very narrow path contributed to dogs urinating on the grass electric pitches and on one occasion a dog urinated all over our stuff at the front of the tent. As you can imagine that can spoil a holiday. Some dog owners let their dogs loose much before the dog field. I witnessed an owner allowing their dog poo on the ball field for children, so I'm not surprised why all the children played balls on the tent field.Only one comment about the water tap is that we had to fight the bush to get to it.Bins and laundry room unfortunately are not wheelchair accessible but very well maintained.Bathroom facilities only need a squeegee for the shower floors and they will be spot on. Had this place recommended to me & it did not disappoint. Amenities were great, toilet & shower blocks warm, clean & spacious. Little on site shop was handy, ice creams were amazing. Location was great for us to do everything we had planned, short drive to most places. The farm animals were lovely, especially the baby goats. Staff were friendly & welcoming. Peaceful & tranquil surroundings. Will definatly return in the future.

First time camping and we loved our stay. The facilities were great and a family friendly place. We will be returning.

We loved Pomeroy, especially the ice cream!The shower block facilities were exceptionally big and clean. Lovely location, within easy walking distance to a few pubs!Recommend The Church Inn in Chelmorton.Our dog loved the doggy field!We always complete a journal of our motorhome trips and we honestly could find nothing negative to say about this site. Definitely will be returning.

We enjoyed our stay, very friendly, great home made ice cream, lovely soft grass for getting the pegs in, the only downside was the road noise, boy is that road busy even at night

Can't fault anything,we weren't short of any facilities and it is a great location to explore the Peaks and surrounding villages.

Arrived at 7pm but 2 x staff members just leaving. Had to ask how to book in but they didn't want to take names or check we'd paid. Showeres great! Pitch good, but sloping. Nice and quiet although can hear main road noise and beware its under the flight path for Manchester airport!

A lovely few days at this gem of a site, situated on the Tissington Trail with lovely views.Very clean & tidy shower block and shop with a few essentials and most importantly homemade ice cream.
