All staff we so friendly and the the site was very well kept and facilitates clean. It was peaceful and in a great location. Easy to get to Bakewell and Buxton as well as being close to pubs and shops. The site backs onto the high peak trail so great location for exploring and walking/cycling. Our little boy loved feeding the animals every morning, food just £1 a bag. The ice cream was delicious and the shop had all the essentials. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay

Lovely small campsite, nice spacious well serviced pitches, and good facilities. Other guests should respect the “no ball games” in the touring area though, and also have the respect to mop the showers after themselves, but this is by no means the fault of Pomeroy, it’s sadly down to inconsiderate guests. Enclosed dog walking field is a brilliant addition, as is the direct access to the high peak trail, and after a long walk you can come back and reward yourself with a delicious ice cream.

The site is easily accessible from the A515 to Buxton but that does add a bit of background traffic noise. Staff are very friendly and knowledgable about the local area and the facilities spacious and clean. The local bus into Buxton is useful but infrequent. I didn’t like their liberal use of weed killer around the edges of the site fields by fences and walls and I would prefer natural wildflowers to dead orange stripes.Final warning to those planning walks on local footpaths, to get on them you usually need to be able enough to vault a stone wall ‘stile’ which is not accessible to less fit and mobile walkers or dogs.

Lovely staff.Nice pitches. Great location.Two things to improve:- no hand sink in cubicle in ladies washroom.- one of the hand driers in the ladies has not worked since our previous visit in 2023.

We have been to Pomeroy twice now and can highly recommend the site. Pitches are well spaced can be hard standing or grass. Toilet block very spacious with good showers and always lovely and warm! Pomeroy is a few steps from the Peak Trail, a great walk! Delicious icecreams and milk shakes are available on site.Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful small site with direct access to the High Peak Trail. Immaculate facilities and the bonus of a family bathroom for those with young children…. With an actual bath! Despite the rain, the perfectly level pitch was well drained… home made ice cream is delicious and the added benefit of the friendly animals made our stay perfect…. Will definitely be back

7.9m motorhome, Just stayed at Pomory site, have stayed several times in the past and will definitely be returning. Facilities are excellent, shower block exceptional, warm clean lots of hot water, family bathroom is a great idea,staff professional and friendly. Love feeding the pygmy goats, kunekune pigs and rabbits. Easy safe access to high peak trail.
